Honestly I wanted to like this. I’ve been following this company ever since they released the big round droid speaker, but it was too expensive for me to get. I jumped at the opportunity when I saw the smaller ones and their price. I decided to splurge and get one for my office. Honestly. I returned it after opening it and trying it out. It doesn’t sound any better than a cheap Bluetooth speaker. It’s all bark no bite. If you are getting this to have a speaker, you’ll be better off getting something else. Don’t get me wrong. The design and build is fantastic and that alone is great. But as a speaker, it fails. Which is really disappointing considering all of the hype around their products.

The speaker looks incredible, but it’s not a good speaker at all! It disconnects from the phone automatically many times, and even makes strange sounds, horrible quality! Very disappointed!

This is hands down the best looking speaker I've ever tested. It's heavy for its size, with a shiny zinc alloy body that looks absolutely awesome. If you're the kind of person who collects Funko Pops and other cutesy pop culture stuff, this think was made for you.But does it sound great? Meh. I'll just say that there's nothing at all wrong with the sound. It's perfectly functional, and it doesn't feel like a cheap speaker. It just doesn't blow me away. The mids and highs are pretty good - important for me as I suffer from tinnitus that makes me struggle to hear higher frequencies - but there's not much bass to speak of. That said, for such a small speaker it's easily capable of filling a room. This could be your main speaker in your bedroom, and it would come in very handy if you're pushed for space.All in all I'd say that the price tag of this thing can be justified by its looks and build quality. It's a decoration more than anything else. As a speaker it's just fine, but as an ornament to sit in amongst a row of Funko Pops and a stack of gaming systems it fits right in. I like it.
