I am reordering this for the third time - it is wonderful for when you feel you may have overeaten or for any kind of digestive upset. This is an herbal tincture in a base of alcohol and water - that's all. It has a rather strong herbal taste if taken "straight," but I put a dropperful into a small amount of water and swallow it quickly and it is not unpleasant. A perfect natural remedy to have on hand - it really works, and I appreciate the mission of the Rainforest Pharmacy to make herbs from the Amazon available to us.

Got this for my mom who is battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer. A friend had brought back actual leaves from Peru which helped her a great deal. I'm not sure this is having the same effect as it's hard to communicate with my mom.
