Read before buying!!
Ok, here's what I can say. The picture is excellent! Very bright and very sharp. So why give the unit only three out of five stars? Because of a design flaw that makes that clear, bright, sharp picture useless. They did not make the projector portion of this device HDCP compliant! What does that mean? It means while you can watch Netflix using the built-in app, if you try to download and use the HBO app, it will tell you this device isn't supported for copyright reasons. Try hooking up a TiVo via the HDMI port? Same 'Not supported because your device is not HDCP compliant.' message. Why on earth they chose not to support that is beyond me. I can even forgive them if they didn't support it on the HDMI port, but on the internal connection so you can't use apps like HBO or Showtime?! And this is a hardware issue, not software so no update will fix it either. On a side note, calling this an Android device is only true in the most primitive sense. You have essentially two screens. Their circular 'home' screen where you choose your source, or the app list screen. Navigation is extremely frustrating using the on-device keys. Just trying to navigate to, let alone be able to enter your credentials for Netflix and the like is an episode in futility. It can be mitigated with an external keyboard or mouse, but it has to be USB, not bluetooth. Simply put, they should've left the default Android skin alone instead of trying to dumb it down to the point it's dumb. All that said, even with that I would've only deducted a single star because the apps did run. The deal-breaker however was the HDCP issue. If you don't need that and are using a non-copy-protected HDMI source, or you only need Netflix and can get past logging in, this is great! However for me, I had to look elsewhere. I went with the ZTE SPro2 which, while bigger, is less-expensive, actually *brighter* and has a full touchscreen running essentially a full Android experience. Being able to input passwords and such on an on-screen keyboard is amazing.I wanted to love this, but the Android experience, and worse, the HDCP deal-breaker made that a non-starter. Again, if you don't need it, this does have an amazing, sharp picture.

Absolutely worth the money. By far the best pocket projector (out of the 20+ i've purchased)
I have ordered over 20 pocket projectors in the last 5 years. The Laser Beam Pro is by far the best one I have used.I work for a nonprofit that creates mobile projector kits that are completely battery powered, fit in a backpack, and can play an 100 person audience. I send these kits all over the world for medical/construction/evangelism teams to use. We have used these kits to show hygiene videos to villages in the mountains of India, children’s videos in refugee camps in Lebanon, Gospel films in Africa, and everything in between! This projector is by far the best one for our needs. The Laser Beam Pro is/has:Able to be charged with a USB cable (this gives you the ability to extend play time to 7 hours with a small battery backup, an absolute must for our off grid application)Way brighter than the competition (brighter than projectors that charge with a USB cable)Very user friendly (the Android OS and buttons on top are excellent)Able to wirelessly connect to the speakers wirelessly (very handy to avoid the tripping hazard)Auto focus (way better than messing with a tiny focus wheel)Threads on the bottom to attach to a tri-podExternal SD Card storageOverall we are incredibly pleased with the product. It wirelessly connects to smartphones with ease. You can pair it to your phone and be seeing your phone background screen in seconds and it isn’t choppy like other projectors. If you are looking for excellent quality, great resolution, a simple user interface, extreme portability, and the ability to extend your battery life with a cheap $30 battery bank, this is the projector for you!

Amazingly Bright Projector Perfect for Presentations and Travel.
Absolutely LOVE this projector. I chose it for the 200 lumens and size. When I need sound I add a wireless bluetooth speakers. The primary use of this projector is for work as several times I find myself at a client conference room not equipped with a projector. It is super small and easy to use. I tend to cast from my phone or use an HDMI cable from my laptop. The battery option is great when you know your presentation will be under an hour at maximum brightness. I also have a heavy duty backup battery just in case. As you can see in my photo, this is in a large boardroom on a white wall with lots of light streaming in from the open concept hallway. I could make the image large enough for 30 people to read without any issues. Lots of clients marvel when I pull out this compact projector: especially once I start projecting with no need to focus. I highly recommend this projector if you need compact, bright, and on the go. Customer service was also excellent when I reached out to them. I did my research for months before selecting this projector. Only recommendation, make sure to get the simple or full package accessory case. You need the case to easily store the projector and to ensure it does not turn on in your laptop bag. As for portability, I have a very slim purse I converted to a laptop bag. I can fit my 15" Lenovo, Plantronics portable conference cube, tech case and my projector all zipped up!
