Survive The Chaos. Grace Hamilton
Austin, a journalist has recently lost his wife. His whole world is now devoted to his daughter, Savannah. He recently purchased a motor home and he and his daughter are just driving, exploring. Both are trying to overcome their tragic loss. A friend from his college days suddenly contacts him to arrange a meeting. Austin agrees and his friend gives him an hard drive contained in a sealed container. Then his friend is suddenly shot. They are on a bridge and Austin jumps off into the freezing , fast moving water. Hours later he is rescued by a woman. A veterinarian named Amanda. His leg is broken. Then an EMP strike occurs. Chaos erupts. Suddenly a group called the New World Order wants the hard drive and are willing to kill anyone to get it back. Non stop action, suspense from the first to last page!! An excellent read!!!

I liked this book with just a few caveats.
I like most books about survival after an EMP, but this one I like better with a caveat or two. It was interesting to see Austin, try to find his daughter after an EMP hits. He is a journalist following up on a story that turns into an intriguing fight for his life, as well as his daughters. Some of the time lines aren't possible and as most authors that aren't familiar with weapons, there were several errors regarding these. As a former gun dealer, these always make me cringe more than the average person. Hint, email me and I will be glad to help you with weapon questions so you don't have these errors. Other than these few little nitpiks, I did enjoy the book.

Great story. Great ending
I read the first part of this story a long time ago and had forgotten much of it and I have never read the ending. So many of the books of this genre sound the same it’s hard to follow a series unless you have a great memory which I don’t. I just loved this series and all of the characters you paint so clearly with your words. It’s like watching a movie where you can read each characters minds. The best thing about your writing is the lack of profanity in each one. I can understand how when someone is really trying to get their point across that it is understandable but most writers feel like they don’t have a good story unless it’s filled with four letter words. To me it shows their lack of adjectives and intelligence. You always tell a great story without all the trash which I love. The editing was great and out of the three books I think you had two errors but it wasn’t like some where I have to read over and over to try to figure out the meaning. Great job. Thank you for the hours of fantastic entertainment.

Good Read
A little different than the average survivalist fare, but worth the time. I would like to c more narrative about what each character is thinking as they go through this. Especially the main characters & how they r feeling about what’s happening and about one another. Also, I find them facing the big group of heavily armed and trained anarchists without a plan or even weapons training for most of them a little far fetched. Especially a 14 year old with little fire arms training saving the day. I also didn’t appreciate how Christian beliefs were characterized as negative even by many of the main characters & how they were belittled & were made out 2 b crazed & not 2 believe in self defense. After all, even Jesus told the disciples 2 sell all they had & 2 buy a sword. People only used swords for one thing in Jesus time after-all. But it kept my interest and I read it pretty quickly & will read the next book in the series.

Savannah and her dad agreed to meet back at their fifth wheeler, but an EMP caused them both to be late.
Savannah promised her dad that she’d be home by 10. However, by 10 planes were dropping from the sky, all electricity stopped working, cell phones were dead, and shots were being fired all around. It would be weeks before father and daughter saw each other again, the whole country would have changed. Normal has an entirely new meaning for Savannah and her friends and family. Someone or some group is pushing the hate and violence that is happening. The New Order is blaming God for all the problems. Anyone who believes in God is hunted down and usually killed. This was all planned, promoted, and prepared for ahead of time by New Order leaders. The horror happening on these pages seems real.

Engrossing
Very interesting story. The characters were interesting. I like the prepper house. The strength it takes to be safe and prepare for the unknown future.

~~First one in a new series~~
This series is off to a wild start...even before the EMP hits. There is action and a killing to start this one out.Just imagine trying to get to safety in Utah and then the unimaginable happens....The question is 'what happened to my daughter?'I have read some of this author's previous novels but for some reason lost track of the stories. Not anymore as I hit the 'follow' button. Most highly recommended for mulitple reasons...solid plot, well-developed characters and action on nearly every page. Society breaks down in a hurry... am patiently awaiting the next one in this series.

Exciting with lots of action and adventure. Limited vocabulary used.
An enjoyable book that shows a talented emerging writer. What let's it down is the limited vocabulary, lack of idioms, limited description and many plot holes. Many clichés exist, especially linguistic ones. Characters need fleshing out. That said, it holds the interest of a reader due to the twists in the tale.
