This is a delightful book with beautiful illustrations that combines accurate scientific knowledge about the life of bees with a story of one bee. Hummy grows up in the hive and has to pass a few tests in order to become a forager... I bought this book for my young daughter and actually learned something! Great way to teach knowledge about bees by reading a fun story. I highly recommend this book!

Too long of a story, just wasn't what I was expecting

There are lots of children's books about bees but this one actually teaches children all about the life and work of bees in a fun way. I've already bought another one for friends of mine who have children at an environmental school.
