Wippermann Connex 11SB 11-fach Chain // 118 Glieder

I recently installed the connex 11SB chain on my bike which has all Sram Force components. Now have 60 miles on it. It works perfectly. According to a credible test report, the Connex chain stands up better to wear and "stretch" than the others tested, including the Sram PC-1170 which I had used previously. The Connex chain is made in Germany. It is more expensive. However, if it lasts longer, it will be worth it, not only for the cost of the chain, but also for the fact that a worn chain degrades the sprockets on the cassette and the chain rings.

Definitely the best looking chain out there and as one of the longest wearing chains it is one of the best values in quality chains you can invest in.

The fastening link was a bit loose, so if you had chain bounce it could come loose. I have never had this problem with connex chains before.

There is no chance you'll sneak up on another rider with this chain... Granted, I'm running it on an Edco monoblock, but Shimano and KMC chains are effectively silent in comparison. Simply the noisiest chain I've ever heard.Shifts well, installs easily, and looks great. It's just the damn noise!

Chain just arrived with no link...hard to justify the price of the chain with no link. Returning.

Inner rollers only gold for only 100 miles. Looked super sweet for one day though. Otherwise, just your average chain.

Wipperman quality and extra bling of a black and gold chain

Had this similar chain for my 10 speed road bike and loved. Thought I would like it on my 1x11 mtn bike. Purchased March 11, snapped at a factory made connection on June 14. Correct spec chain, properly installed (LBS mechanic go years), and it barely lasted 300 miles. Would not buy, look elsewhere.
