Works Great With the Gutter Sense Attachment
It would be difficult to write a review about an extension pole that would crack open the Earth, tear apart the sky, and end world hunger due to its shear awesomeness. I mean, it's a pole that extends. So I won't shoot for razzle-dazzle. I'll just say why I like it and what I use it for, and let it be that. Sorry, I know that's disappointing.I use this extension pole with the unique and surprisingly effective gadget called Gutter Sense Gutter Cleaning Tool - Improvements. My parents' home is two stories and I don't like having to shimmy up top to clean the leaves out with a leaf blower. I ESPECIALLY don't like the thought of my parents attempting this feat, so I bought the Gutter Sense and this pole to mount it on.The pole is fairly lightweight, yet sturdy. Even when fully extended it holds up with the usage of the gutter cleaner. It does bend a bit at the slimmer portion when I'm trying to haul out a clump of leaves and I get the device caught on a gutter support, but that's to be expected. The locking collar for the extension is a nice, heavy plastic that is a very effective anchor - it really does tighten things down securely. The plastic threading on top of the pole for attachments pairs with said attachments well - there is no cross-threading or poorly defined areas on the threading that would lend itself to damaging the pole or accessories. I really like that the attachment I'm using secures very well to the pole - no coming loose when I bump it on something, etc. It tightens down and stays that way.My final reason for liking it: it's made in the U.S.A. Given how many products are being made overseas for less money and (usually poorer quality), it is nice to see this device, as simple as it is, made here.Cheers!

Extremely effective
I bought these for my guys to clean the awnings outside our building. This was fabulous as less time was spent on a ladder because they were able to reach with these extension poles. This made the whole process easier and safer.

Works well to get leaves out of gutters
Glad I bought this. It definitely helps make gutter leaf cleaning easier!

Decent extension pole
Decent extension pole for the money. Like anything, it's a balancing act between "lightweight" and "sturdy", and it seems this pole is more on the lightweight side of that equation. I bought it for use with an apple picker, but figured with its universal threaded end, I could also use it for painting walls/ceilings in rooms with vaulted ceilings. Works great as an apple picker pole, but I don't think it will be rigid enough at full extension to use with a paint roller, based on how much flex I get with the apple picker basket, which is much lighter than a loaded paint roller. Should work fine mostly collapsed for painting, just gets pretty "flexy" when fully extended. Still, happy with the product, very light, easy to use, locking collar seems well made and locks the sections together perfectly.

Good, Sturdy Pole
While the pole itself is a sturdy, useful pole, it works better with the Mr. Longarm angle adaptor ($7.70 on Amazon), just because of the nature of the pole and where it is you want to brush. Standing on the ground, and trying to brush off gutter covers over your head, for example, the angle adaptor would allow you to do that much easier and get full use of the brush. Likewise using the car wash brush attachment, the angle adaptor would allow you to angle the brush the way you want it, and get better performance on the top of the vehicle. You will likely like this pole even better if you get the angle adaptor to use with it.

Good enough, but I wonder if I could have done better.
I bought this to use with the ProPole - Painters Pole Addapter so I would have a way to get my camera up high. With newer cameras with WiFi connections, you can put your camera on end, right a smartphone mount on the other and you can control the camera remotely.Build quality of the Mr. Long Arm 3208 is excellent. The bottom half is plastic and the extension tube is light metal. There's a friction locking mechanism on the end of the plastic bottom and it tightens well and holds the upper tube firmly. You can extend the upper tube out to eight feet and without a load on the end, it remains straight. You can force the tube to bend by pushing it against a wall or other solid surface. I wouldn't trust this with a Nikon or Canon DSLR on the end, but with lightweight cameras on the end, the Mr. Long Arm remains straight and easy to handle. What I am personally not sure of is whether eight feet is long enough for my photo and video needs. Once you start playing with a camera on the end of this and see how it allows you to add unique perspective to your shots, you want more length. But for what it is, Mr. Long Arm 3208 Pro-Pole does the job well.Jerry

Really Well Made
I really love this and it has made my gutter-cleaning life so much easier. At the longest extension the pole does bend a bit but it is very strong. And the best part is that once you lock it into place it STAYS locked unlike so many other things that come loose over time. It is fantastic. I also got the brush attachment (not well made) and the swivel arm attachment (not well made). These latter two items are critical for the success of gutter cleaning so I was disappointed when they both wore out after only one use.

It's difficult to loosen to extend or retract pole
I thought that I would really like this pole, but I have found that when you want to change the length it was almost impossible to loosen the lock mechanism especially if you have wet hands. Also you can clamp anything on to the yellow side or it will break since its made of thin fiberglass.
