The Best Front Range Hikes (Colorado Mountain Club Guidebooks)

The information on each hike is easy to understand and in nice detail. I trust their information on the hiking trails. The only problem I have with this book is that the directions to get to the trail heads could be a little more in detail. I had a little trouble with several of the directions getting to some of the trail heads. Otherwise, I think the Colorado mountain club puts out great hiking guides. I will defenitly buy them again!

I like the details from this book and it basically relates to my AllTrails app. It has details other books don’t have.

I've enjoyed reading and finding hikes near me in this book. The author is descriptive and is fun to read. Sometimes it's better to curl up on the couch with a book than a tablet or computer to find my next adventure!

My friends had a copy of this book and we used this guide to find a hike last year. I thought the book was so well laid out I had to buy a copy for myself so I could stop asking them to borrow it. Definitely recommend this for anyone in the Colorado front range.

I was looking for hikes which do not require driving 5 hours from the city and this is a gem, plenty of fantastic walks from 30 minutes to 2-3 hours from the city. Some shorter and some 16 miles, I have them read and we look forward to getting through some this summer! A great buy

About 10 hikes done so far and all have been great recommendations with good trail info. Looking forward to hiking the rest.

This book has lots of details. I like how the pages are broken up so that you know exactly what you are getting into. There is a picture of each hike and a topographic map also. Each page gives you a rating, distance, difficulty, and round trip approximate time.
