I really appreciated the photos used to properly identify whether or not the hood shade would fit and work on the lens you have. Really helped to make sure you were getting the right hood shade. Seem to be good quality but we will need to use it for a while to find out for sure. Only down side is that it is all plastic instead of having some rubber to absorb shock if it should get bumped. Still, for the price, I'm happy with it. And yes, it is reversible for easy storage on the lens.

This product does NOT fit the Nikon AF-S DX 18-55mm lens. Time is valuable. There is now an hour of my life I cannot get because I opened this product, spent 21 minutes trying to make it fit, 8 minutes saying things that would make my Sunday School teacher blush, 3 more minutes to rebox it, 11 minutes to generate the Amazon return code and then 17 minutes to dive it to the UPS Store to send it back. I'd rather have my big toe pounded flat with a mallet than sacrifice that time. Anyway, don't buy this piece of junk. Have a nice day and tip your waiters.
