This is quite easy. I did this as a first for me with QAYG and I also did a prototype first as I'm only a beginner. But I quite liked the end project

I was pleased with service of getting pattern - very quick. The pattern was what I expected. Little difficult to understand - probably me - not the company. After someone explained it made perfect sense. Look forward to making many more - using different material allows for many different table runners for all occasions.

Not for Beginners
The product was delivered as promised. New quilters or sewers should be aware that this isn't a beginner's pattern!! The directions are questionable and the project required considerably more time than anticipated.

Truly easy and beautiful project
I actually purchased this same pattern from my local quilt shop but wanted to leave a review here so a wider audience could read it. This pattern is very easy to follow and I completed the whole project in just a few weeks, including the extra time it took to make a total of 8 placemats ( the pattern gives fabric requirements for 4), as well as the additional free-motion quilting I added (pattern calls only for using QAYG to piece/quilt the cut pieces, which goes very quickly). Here are some pics of my final project - I used metallic thread for the quilting, which flashes nicely in candle/sunlight - but doesnโt show up well in the photos.

There is no picture of the placemat and since I am a visual person I was immediately turned off. It was very confusing trying to figure out the pattern pieces. Consequently, I have not tried to even attempt to make a placemat as yet from the pattern.
