Excellent Way To Mount a Dot On A CZ Shadow 2 Non-Optics Ready Version
People can not read. The description clearly says "OuterImpact Red Dot Adapter/Mount for CZ Shadow 2 (Non-Optics Ready Version and 9mm only)". I pushed out the rear sight with a sight pusher. This fit the dovetail perfectly. The mount has stayed tight and is a very low mount. Do not blame the mount if you do not read the description. I am looking at buying a CZ Shadow 2 Orange Non-Optics Ready next. I would buy another one in an instant. Yes there is now no rear sight with the Dot I chose but there are Red Dots out there with a rear sight built in. Excellent product.

Requires special tools
In the end, buying the mount then required buying additional special tools for mounting - Iām better off just upgrading my pistol to a red dot ready version

Works as Advertised
Dovetail was included and once knocking the OEM sight out fit snug and tightened down perfectly. Overall, great mount!

Fits CZ Shadow 2 - Not superb for the Optics Ready variant.
Sight came with the dovetail in the DVT labeled package. Good quality aluminum sight. Can mount on the Optics Ready but will mount after rear sight removal, replacement of the dovetail and leaving the stock plate on the weapon. I opted instead to find a plate which replaces the CZ S2 OR factory plate and mounts the optic at slide height instead of above the slide with a higher footprint. If you have a non-OR Shadow 2 this is a good plate for you.

This product does NOT fit a CZ Shadow 2. No dovetail. Do not buy if you have a CZ Shadow 2.
It does not have a dovetail and will not fit a CZ shadow 2. It will also not mount a vortex venom red dot.
