Exceeded expectations, and much cheaper then other options
I use this notebook for meeting minutes and design work on consulting engagements. My previous quad rule notebooks were slightly cheaper (office depot brand), but they were low quality and couldn't hold up to repeatedly being stuffed in a briefcase. The blueline notebook has worked great. Is is a good size carrying to client meetings, and looks professional. The quad rule keeps things neater than the typical legal lined sheet. It is great for roughing out process flows, system diagrams, etc. For the money, this is the best notebook I've bought to date. As an added bonus it comes with a sheet of tags and flags and has a table of contents. Highly recommended.Edit: It's been 18 months and 3 notebooks later. These books have been through the ringer - other than some warping of the bindings from heavy use, they're in really good shape. No rips or tears, the corners have held up, and they still look professional. As another reviewer mentioned, you can see writing in ink through the other side of a page, but I haven't had any trouble with legibility. As long as you're not writing with a fountain pen or a felt tipped pen you should be fine. For reference I typically end up using Sanford Uni-ball onyx fine point pens because it's what they buy at work.

I love this notebook
I love this notebook! I am a researcher and am constantly running experiments and need notebooks left and right to keep track of everything. This notebook is exactly what I need. The price is right and the quality is great. Can't find any grid notebooks in stores with a hard cover for a decent price. The gridlines are not too thick so any writing over them will be seen (in blue or black ink...I have tried both). I can easily keep track of numbers and it even comes with tabs and a front page for naming tabs quick and easy! I didn't know that when I first bought it, but it was only an added bonus! The only con about this notebook is that with extremely inky pens (like fountain pens) you can see it on the other side of the page. It doesn't bleed through completely, but it's still visible. I don't use inky pens all that much so it's not a problem for me!!LOVE it!

The ONLY notebook that I use.
I use this for notes, drawing, journaling, and everything in between. The quad-rule keeps everything neat via vertical and horizontal guide lines. Great when you need to illustrate a point/idea by literally illustrating it. Also, by using the included stickers and tabs (color coordinated) everything is really kept in order. Thanks to the obsessive compulsive designers at Blue line! AND for the price (please don't raise it!!) I'm able to have a different notebook for every project and each zany idea. The simple hardcover stands up to a thousand in/out of bag routines (so far)The paper isn't super thick- but the Pilot G-2 gel pens that I use don't bleed onto the other side of the page (usually) and have never made it to the next page.If you are worried about that or use sharpies/colors-- you can do what I did and cut a piece of card stock to size and attach a provided tab. (see photo)-Cheers all around Blue line!

Good little notebook
I still use a pen and a notebook at work, every day. I've used lots of different notebooks, from cheap three ring binders to very expensive, leather bound things, to engineering/lab notebooks, to the venerable Moleskine. So far, this one is among the best of them, and at a very attractive price.I look for durability, quality of paper, and price when I look at a notebook purchase, not necessarily in that order. This one seems quite durable, though I won't be able to comment definitively until I've filled one or two of them up and they have not fallen apart like my Moleskines do. The paper is fine for my Parker gel ink roller ball, and as I said, the price is great. The notebook feels good in my hand, opens fairly flat, and is easy to write in.I mean come on, it's a notebook, right? What could go wrong?Well, most of the others I've tried were just not good enough, even at crazy prices. This is the one I'll be using from now on.

I purchased this for my Physics class and my professor loved it.
I used to buy the regular paperback composition books, but they would start to rip and wear off by the end of the year. I purchased this for my Physics class and my professor loved it. This is a nice notebook for a fair price. It comes with a table of contents page on the first page and a bunch of stickers and tabs on the last page to help organize pages. I will definitely keep buying this notebook.UPDATE: The page binding isn't going so well. My arm rests on the page for a while(making graphs) and some pages fall out after moving my arm, but I just put tape, overall still great for the price.

Favorite notebook ever
I love these notebooks. I wish the gridlines were a bit lighter though. I like to write with 0.5 4B lead (which is pretty dark) but the gridlines still overshadow my lead. I switched instead to writing with erasable pens. These notebooks come with sticker labels for the side binding and front so you can clearly label your work. There is also a color-coded table-of-contents which you can customize with the included color divider tabs.Love love love this! Since I bought it the price doubled though. When it drops again I'm definitely stocking up. (Heads up, if you see these under $5 ever, don't hesitate to by 10 of them. It really is worth it! I regret only buying 2 while they were at the lower price.)

These notebooks are perfect for my use
These notebooks are perfect for my use. I just use them for notes at my job (basically my work day journal). I like the quad ruled as I don't have to worry about the lines while writing. :). Used to get the standard, quad ruled composition books, but like these much better due to the cover and looks. I'd agree that the pages are a bit thin, but I write in pen, use both sides of the pages with no issues (and I write with a lot of pressure). Suits my needs just fine and will be using these in the foreseeable future as they are priced right as well. Just wish they were prime by themselves! :)

Ugly But Functional and Cheap
Maybe because we are an office of designers. We don't like the book on first look. It looks cheap. And while we know it is, you could spend less on this product by just taking the graphic off during the production process. And end up with a mote expensive looking product.4 star for functionality, paper, and durability. Fails miserably at look and feel because of the ugly graphic on the front. Please leave it blank the way you do with the coil/ line paper ones.We end up ordering these for some of our staff because they have gridlines. If there was a competitor that made a similar product minus that silver graphic on the front, we'd be going with them. People are just putting up with it.

Decent notebook, arrived damaged
I bought this notebook with the intention of using it as a bullet journal/planner. The paper is smooth the touch, and feels nice to write on, however there is slight feathering and ghosting when using any kind of ink (marker, highlighter, pen, etc.). It comes with an index in the front, and a contact page, which I find to be a bit of an eye-sore, but the sticker tags are a nice touch and adds utility. Also, be aware that the notebook is slightly larger than the classic A5 size, which I actually prefer. The cover is sturdy and secure-no complaints yet, with a silver graphic on the front. Unlike some other reviews, I don't mind the graphic because it is relatively small, and can easily be covered up by a sticker or some washi tape.I wish I could recommend this notebook more, however the front cover arrived completely damaged, and the corners were dented. Fortunately for me, I contacted Amazon's customer service, and they quickly helped to resolve the issue, however it was still disappointing to open the package.Overall, the notebook is decent for its price, and I would have considered ordering it again had it not arrived damaged. The price is reasonable, and good enough for my purposes.

not worth the money
it has the feeling of a cheap dollarama notebook for high school teens. i was going to use it for bullet journalling, but i didn’t expect the grids to be very vivid blue like a math worksheet. it’s quite hard to work around the pages without getting distracted by the lines. it’s just not nice to look at and work with without reminding me of mathematical formulas.the cover looks sturdy and hardbound, but that’s the only thing neat about it.pretty sure something similar and thicker could be sold in a dollarstore for $3. not really worth the money. i would buy something else.

Paper too thin - Ink bleeds
I use liquid gel pens mostly, and they bleed through this paper with even fast writing. I just have to use every second page now.

Not as thick as I thought
It is not as thick as I thought so I ended up buying more for other classes but super cute and comes with divider stickers and labels. Great for math and sciences or art/organization.
