I am so incredibly happy with how my stupidly cheap kitchen makeover turned out. Literally everything was purchased on Amazon, and I did it all myself on random weekends while very pregnant (safely, of course). If I could do it, you can, too!The whole thing (minus the kitchen gadgets--just the makeover) cost around $500 and was chosen for cost, looks, and simplicity of application (very pregnant, very impatient).I'm attaching the before and after images, and I'll talk about the individual part relevant to this review. I wasn't really sure about these when I took them out of the envelope they came in, because they looked flimsy and frankly a little cheap, but hey--they were cheap, and my kitchen backsplash area could've used a paint job if this endeavor failed.Didn't fail! I'm so happy with this! It really finished off the kitchen makeover, together with the lights. Took me a couple of hours to put up, with frequent breaks and interruptions. I didn't do anything to the wall beforehand, and they're sticking like champs!A bonus is that I was able to cover up random wall openings that served no purpose. Ever wonder why they sell white plastic rectangles in Lowe's/Home Depot? They're for my kitchen. No working outlet, no broken outlet, no purpose--just weird holes with some wiring. No more! Covered those bad boys up and now it looks like I have a real wall, not Swiss cheese. But that's just a bonus. These tiles are great on their own. Very happy! Just finished the project. I used these as a backsplash for an open pantry area in our kitchen. It looks much classier than just plain white walls. They were easy to use and fit. The adhesion over a painted wall was great. As long as you don't push to hard initially, it is fairly easy to reposition.

Well these were real disappointing. I think the word tiles are an exaggeration! There more like stickers. Easy to rip and they look pretty cheap. I guess I will leave them on the wall until I can get something better. But these are more like wallpaper then anything else. The word "tile" should be taken with a grain of salt for sure! For the money I spent on these I could have bought something much more durable. I have my doubts that they are going to stay stuck to the wall.

I added it with another tile since o could not order more of this one. But very impressed with ease of cutting and applying. Has held up well and stuck very easy.

They are pretty in person but didn't match my kitchen at all. Which was funny to me because it's a black and white pallette.I placed it behind the stove and it stuck until I started to cook. It didn't last a full week after that. It kept slipping off and peeling down. I got tired of reapplying when one got stuck behind the stove.
