Build a Castle Kit for Kids - Paper Craft Activity Book with 3D Castle Model, Knights, and Archaeology for Kids

Castle was easy to build but the tabs would not stay in the slits. We had to use tape to keep it together which is why I gave it 4 stars.

I purchased two of these for my favorite boys. One loved it. One has not yet touched it. Go figure.

I would recommend against purchasing this product.On paper (pun intended) it should be easy assemblable by a kid. In reality, the paper chosen for the product is way too easy to dishevel. The cuts in the paper are way to narrow compared to the thickness of the paper elements. The construction itself requires some good coordination that could rarely be find among kids.The flaws are could be corrected in a very obvious way: just make the cuts for the "joints" wider.Another issue is the due to the narrow cuts the assembled parts (towers, gates, walls) can not keep the align, the finished castle tries to wiggle in a different directions.Few archers are to be placed on top of the towers. Sadly, there is not enough place for the figurine base, which makes them look very awkward.On the bright side: there is a story complimentary to the castle, which introduces kids to the medieval society quite nicely.However, kids were way too frustrated by their blatant inability to make the castle on their own, so they showed little of interest reading the book.
