Not happy. Not as advertised.
It did have a removable soft zip cover as advertised.I don't know, maybe I'm that 1 out of100 that received a defective pillow, who knows.I put it in the dryer as per directions. I've had others and they were perfect when I removed them from the dryer. When I removed this one, it was still in a compact form. No expansion. I though maybe it need re-situated in the very nice pillow case it was in. I'm not referring to the covered removable zippered case. It appears the pillow case was sewed around the pillow, but in it's compact form and there was no way I could maneuver it to a proper position, but I still tried for about 10 minutes. Frustrating. Finally, I had to cut it out. I really did not want to do that. When I removed it from that case, it was not contoured, just a regular flat foam pillow. I put it in the dryer again to see what would happen. Did I just get one from a bad batch? Who knows. I had hoped I could at least give it a 2 and use it as a regular pillow somehow, but I couldn't. I wouldn't even put it on a guest bed. It never re-formed or plumped up even the slightest bit.

Good, hard contoured pillow.
I have a Serta contoured pillow that I can’t live without. I had a long trip coming up and needed one to travel with. This worked pretty well. It’s a bit smaller than my Serta and it’s much firmer. It’s not as soft as I’d like but it does help me keep my neck straight. Not a bad pillow in a pinch, but I’d keep looking if you want luxury.

Shame on you AMAZON for continuing to allow such a crappy product to still be sold through you
The pillow comes rolled up in a round zippered case. The instructions tell you to put the pillow in the dryer for 10 minutes on low heat to restore the shape. After running each pillow (separately) through three 10-minute cycles, they are still misshaped and flat as a pancake. After going back and reading ALL the reviews, I can see that I am not the only person who has had the same experience. Shame on you AMAZON for continuing to allow such a crappy product to still be sold through you!

It was a waste of my time and I sent it back
This pillow should not be called a Bamboo pillow. The only part of the pillow that is Bamboo is 15% of the pillow case. The actual pillow is synthetic foam material. And it comes rolled up tightly in a tube shaped case and when you unfold it; it is not even in the shape that is shown in the picture. It is ridiculous. It was a waste of my time and I sent it back.

works for me
I've never before tried either a contour pillow or a memory foam pillow. My goal, as a side sleeper, was to find a pillow that would be supportive but also easy on my ear, which can sometimes feel crushed after sleeping on it all night. Yes, I sleep on the same side all night, so this makes me particularly prone to a squashed ear. I debated between this and a side-sleeper memory foam pillow. I took a chance on this Queen size contour.Memory Foam: Based on reviews of memory foam pillows, it seemed to have a good chance of being supportive but conforming. After a few nights with this pillow, I agree. Previous pillows were either too firm (polyfiber fill) or too yielding (feathers). In a way, the feathers could be worse because I'd sometimes wake having sunk all the way through, with the seams of the pillow case pressing into my skin. This memory foam pillow keeps its shape and support, even as it gives way for my ear - support with no pressure points.Contour: My hope was that the shape would help with my squashed ear problem. Unlike some side sleepers, I'm not concerned about neck support (just that the pillow keep my head at a good height). But I'd figured that since the contour pillow seems to dip down a bit for the side of the head, it would help alleviate pressure. I looked at photos of people laying on contour pillows, and that seemed to be how the head fits on the pillow. But this is NOT my experience with this pillow. I've no idea if this one is shaped any different than other contour pillows. And I'm pretty average in frame size for a woman, about 5'5", and not a particularly short neck. Yet, no matter which edge I used, my ear never sat in the contour. I would shift the pillow edge as close as I could against my shoulder, but my chin never clears the hump. It's basically like sleeping on a bolster pillow.Which turns out not to be a problem for me. Like I said, the memory foam has enough give to keep me comfortable. And I found that the higher edge (4.5") was just the right height so that I didn't need another pillow under it (as I do with other pillows).Quality: I was impressed with the quality of the memory foam and the bamboo case. The case is quilted and thick and better than any pillow protector case that I've ever seen before. I like using a protector case under my regular one, and I generally wash both every week. I have high hopes that this pillow will stay nice & fresh & clean. In the end, this pillow did the trick and has been comfortable for the handful of nights I've owned it so far. It seems high quality, and I suspect it'll hold its shape for a long time. Next purchase, I might simply go with a memory foam side sleeper pillow (rectangle shape), since the contour doesn't seem to do me any good. But I think I'll want the bamboo cover again, and I'll certainly look for this brand again.

My story...
So here is the thing. This pillow would be everything you need it to be. The 2 different heights gave me the adjustment I needed. It is soft and doesn't get to hot.The bad.-- When I received this pillow and I took it from it packaging I waited for a few seconds, then minutes, then hours, and it did not "poof" up. The memory foam acted like it did not want to come out of its packaged form. I placed it in the dryer for 10 minutes on low, it fluffed a little. Then I played with the heat and the time. It currently still malformed and will not take shape and now the dryer trick is not working.I emailed this seller and they told me to return it. Well It sort of works and I simply asked them to send me a new one. I have not received a response.I am sure that my case is a rare occurrence, and if this pillow functions the way it is suppose to its well worth the money. I am just disappointed in the product and how the customer service treated the whole situation.I am a back sleeper and my chin falls to my chest. This pillow would absolutely correct that for me if only it "puffed" back up.

Never Fluffed Up
Never fluffed up. It has been about 3 days- I even threw it in the dryer like the instructions say- but it's still less than 2" high. What a waste.
