Ember Temperature Control Smart Mug 2, 10 oz, Gold, 1.5-hr Battery Life - App Controlled Heated Coffee Mug

I ordered the Ember and read the reviews after ordering. I was a little hesitant after reading some of the negative stuff in reviews. I don't usually write reviews, but I like this product so much, I thought I'd give my input to help others out.-I work from a home office and found that my coffee tea gets cold before I finish it because I take my time while working.-It is even better than I expected to have drinks stay at the temperature I want. With the app, you can adjust the heat to the way you like it. The last sip is as good as the first.-I didn't have any trouble setting up the cup and app. I followed some guy's advice in the reviews to make sure the cup is fully charged before setting up the app and followed the instructions. That worked great for me.-I haven't had any of the issues some seem to have had with the Bluetooth disconnecting (I use and iPhone mini). It's been very solid. Twice in the first two weeks, it seemed to not be heating though it said it was connected. I simply turned off the heater through the app and turned it on again both times and it worked fine.-There's some talk about not getting the charging stand wet. I am careful with that, making sure that I haven't sloshed and gotten the bottom of the cup wet. Not a big deal at all to pay attention to that. I don't walk around with normal mugs wet on the bottom anyway.-One review I read complained about the length of time the mug holds a charge. I generally, sit it on the charger by my workstation, so it's always charging. If you do that, no problem with charge. A few times I've taken the mug other places in the house. It easily goes 1.5 hours and my guess is it'd approach ~2 hours, maybe a bit more. That's plenty long for me. And I can recharge it and use again later. It's definitely no iPhone in terms of battery life, but works for what I do. If you expect it to keep something warm for 8 hours, I don't think it'll do that.-It's a very solid-feeling mug that's got a really nice feel. Good heft, some sort of traction rubber on the bottom so it stays put where you set it down.-I was hesitant reading some of the negative reviews relative to the price. I am 100% happy with this purchase. One of the best things I've gotten recently and makes a fun difference in my days. Highly recommend it.

Netzteil passt nicht!Technisch ist das Netzteil für den Betrieb in Netzen mit 110-220 Volt und 50-60 Hz geeignet.Der Stecker des Netzteils passt aber nicht in unsere deutsche Steckdosen.Hierfür ist ein Adapter erforderlich, der NICHT im Lieferumfang enthalten ist.DAS GEHT GAR NICHT!Jetzt muss ich erst einmal einen Adapter besorgen.Dafür waren die Kosten für die Produkt zu hoch!

For 150.00 I expected a better charging cable. It literally looks ugly and the charger box is horrible, like a Conair 14.99 blower. And it's algo huge. Overall, the cup look beautiful. Haven't tried it yet, but soon will update.

I bought my first Ember mug 6 years ago and have used it every day since. It changed everything. My morning coffee lasts longer because I no longer need to chug the luke warm, last half of each mug. It’s now hot from start to finish.But my old mug was getting a bit worn in places and was stained so I decided to get a new Ember mug. The gold edition is very nice. I love the smooth metal and it looks good sitting on my desk. I noticed this isn’t the only heated mug on the market now. You know what they say about imitation. But don’t be fooled, the customer service at Ember is worth a lot more than any “discount” you might find.

This was a gift for my mom. She always has a cup of tea with her around the house however, she will frequently let it get cold which requires her to pop it into the microwave from time to time. After using this for awhile she proclaims that is incredibly convenient and ensures her tea is warm! I asked about the battery life and she says she's had no complaints. She keeps the plate for it by her place on the couch and this seems to keep the battery topped up. She says it cleans easily and that the finish seems like it will hold up for the time to come. Very satisfied
