Mighty Leaf Tea Green Variety, 15 Count Whole Leaf Pouch, 1.32 oz (Packaging May vary)

I received this tea and found it definitely a lot different physically than your standard mighty tea. The tea bags are a pyramid and the string is attached to the bag in a much different manner. The material that makes up this tea bag also seems slightly different than their standard bags.Their standard bags are really heavy-duty with the string connecting the bag tab to the tea bag being sewn all the way around the outside of the tea bag. With these pyramid bags it is definitely possible to pull the bag tab hard enough to break it off of the bag. With typical use though, it seems to be strong enough. It does the job in the end.I believe the shape of the bag does help a bit when it comes to draining the water out of the tea bag. I also like how a lot of the bag can be submerged without anything pushing it down. A more typical, flatter, mighty tea bag does not submerge well all on its own.Dimensions can be seen in the photos I have attached.Pros:*Submerges well by itself*Great tasting tea as alwaysCons:*Tea bag isn't as heavy duty as the original mighty tea bag(-1/2 a star)*Components seem cheaper and not as high quality (-1/4 a star)Additional Considerations:The tea tastes great, but all in all I prefer the original tea bags. These ones can break and I just prefer the hardiness of the originals even if I have to use a spoon to fully submerge the bag. This is something to keep in mind when buying these bags. Will you be using a spoon to add sugar and submerge the bag anyway? Wonderful roasted green tea leaves resulting in a more full bodied flavor than typical green teas.

Great roasted tea, very rich flavor and awesome aroma. I use close to boiling water when I brew this tea and I really enjoy how the Hojicha develops as it steeps. Outstanding flavor. Price is absurd, the cost of this tea is ridiculous. I saw it on sale at the grocery store for 5.99 per box of 15 just days after receiving/opening from Amazon. Not sure why it is more than double that price online.I have had this tea many times at a local bake shop, and many times I have paid a hefty price to drink it. In an effort to save some money I tried ordering this on Amazon from the seller PTOMart. The product shipped quickly and in a few days I had the tea I'd been waiting for. The only problem was that every cup from this package I have made so far has been flat. No strong roasted flavor, it basically tastes watered down and flavorless even after allowing extra steeping time than normal. Usually it has a great smell and deep rich flavor and color. Im wondering whether or not the seller has had this tea sitting around for a while before it gets shipped out. Day after day of disappointment from the lacking flavor, color, and aroma inspired me to purchase again from the local bake shop where I was once again floored by how great this tea tastes.Be careful who you order this tea from. When it is fresh, it is unstoppable.

I drink a lot of green teas... this by far is my favorite. I fill the pot, leave the pouch in the strainer at the top the entire time... a great, smooth taste. Highly recommend!

I love the aroma of this Green Tea. It tastes nothing like what you buy from markets. I place my regular order every month.

I really enjoy Mighty Leaf teas. The leaves contained within the silky pouches are of larger size and of higher quality than the national brands found in supermarkets, making a more flavorful tea to enjoy. And the silky pouches are much larger in size compared to other well-known national brands. Mighty Leaf is loose-leaf tea in individual silky pouches, and individually wrapped in cellophane, making loose-leaf tea very convenient to bring along on trips. Mighty Leaf supports sustainable farming practices in artisan communities around the world. The box states "pan-fired and slow-roasted Japanese green tea leaves yield a rich, nutty brew. I usually combine 2 different teas in a 12 oz cup so I cannot comment on the "nutty" flavor at this time. I have tried several flavors and enjoyed all of them.

The flavor of this tea is distinctively delicious! Mild enough in caffeine to drink even in the evening, and bold enough to enjoy in the morning or anytime of day.

I received 3 packs and already used the first one. The tea is refreshing and green tea always have benefits. The label mentions lightly caffeinated and would like to know the amount of caffeine per pouch. The price is right.

We were first introduced to this tea on a cruise and came to love it. Since then we have tried a loose-leaf version of this tea but the Mightly Leaf variety provides a very good "cuppa" in a handy format and at a good price.

Really like this tea. Has a different flavour then any other green teas i have tried it s a little more mellow with kind of a roasted flavour.

Flavor:The flavor is less 'grassy' than normal green tea. It has a kind of pleasant grain / rice taste to it. If you are not a huge fan of green tea, you could try Hojicha. I can definitely see a greater range of people enjoying this kind of tea.Value:I got it on sale for $8.99. As with most of the other Mighty Leaf teas, you're going to get a better quality product than the cheap tea bag brands you get for free at hotels. You can get a better deal buying bulk somewhere else, but you won't have the convenience of ready-to-go teabags.
