This has saved my pickling jars from going bad. The weight is heavy enough to keep your pickles down and out of the air. It is very simple to use and fits almost all standard jars. It also looks well made and is easy to clean.

Hoping to do a lot more fermenting. These are just slightly smaller than a wide-mouth opening. Tried doing it with daikon radishes julian cut. They kept on creeping up and going around the lid, but my guess is I didn't put enough in there. Looking forward to learning to get good at it.

Great fermentation / pickle weights. These weights are heavy and get the job done. Also love the center knob which is easy to lift out with figures or a small tong.

Works great! Prevents the food from floating to the top and molding. I've started trying different fermenting recipes because I'm not as worried about throwing food out that molds in the process of trying to ferment. It fits on my small mouthed jars better then the wide mouthed and there is a little give on the sides but it hasn't caused me any problems. Super easy to clean. Love this purchase.

This is my first try at making apple cider vinegar. I used this to hold down the apple scrapes, it worked good for the first few days then as the apples started to shrink, the weight sunk to the bottom? I need to do some studying to see how to fix this issue. The weights were thick and good quality and none were damaged as I saw in other reviews. I will be learning more and using them again.

Really good price. These are awesome. I am really into using glass jars to store veggies and fruits. I also store lemons in glass mason jars and cover them with water to preserve longer. The lemons have to stay covered so o use the weights to keep the lemons from floating. Good quality heavy canning weights.

Heavy duty glass. Has a nice little handle to grab onto. Works well inside my mason jars.
