Dash Designs 21 inch Universal Fit Retractable Auto Windshield Sunshade for Chevrolet Trucks

The first thing I noticed was a change in material and design. The screen I previously had was more grey cloth. This newer version is more of a felt paper; similar to some contractor house wraps. But it also has a laminate on the outer layer making it more reflective than prior models.I took one star off for the damage these can to do the dashboard. The edges are sharp and in my last vehicle, these did leave quite a few scratches if I didn't pay perfect attention when opening and closing it.I recently purchased another one for my new vehicle. I shied away from putting it low enough to get better coverage because I did not want to end up scratching the dashboard again. I also filed off the lower leading edge of the movable part to "round off" the sharp corner that can drag across the dash.I'm less happy with my installation of this newest one. But, overall I think it is still a worthwhile product that does work quite well.

I have had this before it works great. But I will say over time it dose seem to fall apart. I have had 3 in the last 4 years. It’s still better then rolling up something and it just hanging out somewhere in the car until needed.

I used this for a side window on my RV. I had to trim it an inch to make it fit using a hacksaw. I like the stick on mounts because the suction cup style does not hold especially in hot weather. Looks good and works great. Let the tabs cure for a couple of days before closing the shade and they will be more secure.

Super easy to use and when you live in a hot state you definitely need a sun shade. 🌞Great how it retracts into the corner and out of the way.

Pretty sure I wrote a review already BUT I’ve gotten this for 3 family members because it’s so awesome! Great way to keep my car cool in the sun. As someone who works from my car traveling, I also use this to shield people who pass my car from looking in and seeing my iPad and paperwork on the floor or back seat.

It was hesitate to get one of these accordion style folding visors but it's excellent because you don't always have to be taking the visor down and shoving it in the backseat. It works perfectly.

I liked the ease on which it retracts unobtrusively to the side of the windshield. The material was changed to something thinner though from my last purchase 3 years ago so I'm subtracting 1 star as I like the old material better as it seems to keep the heat out better.

Great product, keeps my car safe from the heat and is perfect for those times I want to eat in my car during lunch. Quick and easy privacy!
