Great buy, strong & durable

After a few weeks of using it, purchased to replace my year old flexi extreme that had developed a tear near the buckle.This lead seems very robust and upto the job. Comfortable and not heavy.Strong tape which seems very durable.Only criticism is the speed of the return as the tape recoils back on the handle. It’s a noticeable difference compared to the flexi brand, so has had a few leg tangles of the dog returns to you quickly or in a strong wind with the slack created. Again a minor gripe.That said it’s So much better than any of the Amazon alternatives I’ve tried over the years. I walk a working Labrador and he enjoys the freedom to roam and sniff on our walks around the estate when he needs to be on lead. He’s strong and lively at times and this lead has coped perfectly.

In terms of tangle free, easily retractable and ease of use, this lead ticks the right boxes. However; it is not robust enough to deal with a sudden pull given this is my third Mighty Paws in as many years. The first lead lasted a year and the second two years. I have just bought the third. My dog is a 13.5kg whippet! The lead connects to a harness and both broke when she suddenly lunged. Shame as in all other respects a nice lead.

I cannot cope with heavy leads. They hurt my wrist. Normally those with a tape rather than a rope are heavy. This one is not, and therefore ideal for me.

As per the title, the lead was purchased for my 15 week old Bulldog puppy that can be reluctant to walk on a leash on pavements or near roads.The lead is plenty long enough for him and also nice and sturdy. He's only 12kg at the moment but I'm sure this will be fine when he's fully grown. It also doesn't tangle when it's winding back in.I have had the occasional issue with the button not springing back up, which therefore prevents the lead from being able to extend. It's not constant but has been frustrating on those few occasions. If it continues to do it, I'll have to return it for an exchange as it's obviously slightly defective.

I thought this leash was working well and was about to write a 5 star review. The locking mechanism was sturdy, I was able to stop the leash from extending quickly, and the leash retracted quickly once the lock was released. It's lightweight and easy to hold, and the clip is sturdy and works well. However, after using for 2 months, the button stopped releasing so the leash was getting stuck and not retracting. I was very disappointed and emailed Mighty Paw and they are replacing the leash. Great customer service, thank you for the prompt reply and taking care of my issue quickly and without issue.

Tal como se ve en la foto, y como dice la descripción para perros de 110 libras si aguanta , tengo dos pitbull hembra de 15 kg 10 meses y otro de un año 30 kg y los probé con los dos, si aguanto tirones buenos el material y la calidad se ven muy bien. Por lógica si tu perro es agresivo y jala y jala dudo mucho que una correa te sirva debes aprender a sacarlos a pasear 😉

Werkt op zich goed, maar weegt relatief weinig. Het voelt ook veel minder robuust aan dan onze vergelijkbare andere intrekbare hondenriem die al jarenlang meegaat. Vooralsnog, omdat het verder prima werkt, krijgt het de voordeel van de twijfel, we zullen zien hoelang deze mee gaat.

Gute hundeleine liegt gut in der Hand und funktioniert gut. Und für Hund 40kg gut geignet!! 🙂
