Eagle2000 Fire Department Lock Box with Pad Lock Hole

This is a nice box and it’s very simple to wire up. I like the multiple knockout options and the switch works flawlessly. My only suggestion would be to put the sticker on a little more level with the box.

This is a quality fire box. I used a Knox padlock & the micro switch inside can be used for gate controls.

Currently, this is mounted at the entrance of my hotel. So far, so good. In the event our local firemen have to bust it open to save us, I’ll get their opinion and update my review. Assuming they can get to me in time.

Its a relatively well made fire box. It should last years in all types of climates. My only complaints were that the 2 screws that hold the micro switch in place were not long enough to keep the switch in place. I went to the local ACE Hardware store and purchased longer screws that worked to properly hold the switch in place.Like other customers, I discovered that the hole for the Knox lock shackle needed to be drilled out. I used a step drill bit to enlarge the hole to accommodate the 7/16 shackle.

good for the price. The hole is a little small for most padlocks
