Looks great, Thicker than you are expecting :P
Then rope part is 21 inches in itself and with the plastic part it is about 24 inches . This size would have been ideal for bigger birds like the amazon, cockatoo or the macaw.Definitely not for small birds like the budgies.Very sturdy , bendable but will require moderate strength on your part.Got it today ,so my cockatiels are still investigating this perch. I hope they love it :P :P
