These things are awesome! Better than the stock by far! Ordered and they shipped the same day and about 40hrs later they were on my doorstep. Its nicr to see a company who truly cares about thepeople who buy their product. These are rediculously priced so cheap because for how high of quality these are they could sell them for alot more but they dont amd i appreciate them for selling such an awesome product for a price that doesnt break the bank. Baught them for my dads shell on his dodge durango 4x4. And the installation took less than 1 min total and my dad is happy and loves how well they work and they have been on for a few montha now and they are still brand new. Im surs they will outlast the tehcks life and will be the last ones anyone ever has to buy if you purchase these. Great find. Very very happy with my purchase. IF I COULD GIVR MORE THAN 5 STARS I WOULD GIVE THEM 10!

My camper shell lifts would only barely hold up the rear window in the warm weather and mercilessly slam it down on my head in the cold weather. I tolerated my shell in the summers, but feared it when the leaves turned in the fall, knowing it would try to hurt me when I was least expecting it. This summer it became more vengeful and started striking even during the warm weather. My camper shell hated me, I knew it.In frustration, I considered getting rid of the shell and finding a new one, but one day while rubbing a new goose egg on my noggin I chanced to notice some stickers with numbers on the lift supports. A sign! I typed the 4 digit number #4419 into my Google search field and Amazon promised they could help me out with my problem for a reasonable sum. The dimensions given in the specifications even matched the dimensions of my defective parts. Could it be a match?Add to cart, blow on the lucky dice, and push that button - Daddy's gonna win big tonight!They arrived a few days ago, so today I decided to test my luck. Well, well, well!! Exact match! Installation was a breeze. Simply pry off a metal spring retainer clip on the old support with a flathead screwdriver and both were off in less than 5 minutes. If your setup has several other styles of attachment, worry not. The supports came with an illustrated, easy to understand, instruction page covering several installation types and techniques to remove and replace. It was even in English. Of course, my son held the rear window up to prevent any last minute attempts on my head while I was reading the instructions. The new supports easily spring snapped onto the attachment studs with less than a pound of force. No tool needed for that part.My camper shell no longer wants to hurt me. It wants to help me. I love my camper shell and it loves me back.

These things work great on the truck nice and tough. I went with factory recommendations but these might be a little too strong but that's alright.

good strength at 33 lbs. Good value. Good locking connectors. It would be 5 star accept that it stutters in the final stages of extension. Not a big deal for my application (live well on boat). price is very good as the shock gets wet and I end up replacing them often.

Fit perfect, springs are very strong for now, even a little too strong. I wonder why none of these things last? I've replaced every one I've ever had, even on our Lexus. I remember my Dad's camper he built in the '60's. It had a rachet type mechanism that a little lever would come out and hold it up. To close you just raised it a little and the lever would go back in. Lasted forever. Kinda like a window shade mechanism.

These are great replacements. They are rated just a little heavier than the ones that were original. When you open the back door to the cap these really take the door up quickly and with some force so just be aware. They are not difficult to put close but you do have to exert a little effort to get the door closed. Have been using these for about 3 months and they are working perfectly.
