Bring yourself up to speed quickly!
Donald Clark covers a lot of ground in his latest book, and you'll find some of your understanding of learning reinforced perhaps, and much much more extended into the updated world of leaning experience design. You may want to take notes.

Broadly insightful but lacking academic rigor
This is a helpful broad overview of learning experience design for beginners. However, the book could do with an edit – both a substantive edit and a copy edit. The book is also filled with sweeping statements that often provide only one side of a complex argument, as well as generalisations without unpacking their practical application. Although the author has achieved success in this field, and claims to base his book on research, it really reads like a first draft. Overall, I was expecting a lot more.
