We've used the silage cover in our backyard for about a year now.Very sturdy material, barely any noticeable wear and tear.We cut it to to cover out backyard garden to keep weeds from popping up and to keep water from evaporating too quickly.With the leftovers we cut it down to smaller 10'x10' patches and place over weed prone areas to block out the sun.

This 6 mil Poly Film has Ripstop Reinforcement that keeps it from stretching, plus it has white and black sides. The white side is a real advantage as it reflects the sun's heat and UV rays. It will last much longer in the sun and is more waterproof than the woven poly tarps commonly found in stores. I am extremely impressed with its durability and how waterproof it is. I'm so glad I found it and I will definitely buy it again!

Returned ordered by mistake

I expected the plastic to be thicker. I could be mistaken, however it seems the thickness being measured, is the part with the strings and not the void space between. Easily punctured by woody grass stems if not careful. Otherwise its great. Just do NOT WALK ON IT.
