This storage box is great for storing chair cushions. I have it out in the Florida sun and still looks like the day I put it together. Easy to put together but would recommend having someone help you. Would recommend.

Great product. Fit and finish are better than products made by SunCast. Not the easiest to assemble but overall much better than the one it replaced.

Updated: loaded it with firewood and it seems more sturdy. Seems it will do the job.I’m not confident this will be as sturdy as a previously purchased Rubbermaid Rubbermaid Small Horizontal Resin 18 Ft³ Horizontal Shed. I was so happy with the sturdiness and easy assembly of that unit, I purchased this unit too (for size and color in a different space). While it looks good, assembly was kind of a pain (did it myself, but needed a drill and a socket wrench and had to prop up some pieces during assembly or it would collapse). I plan to keep firewood in it, and hope once it’s loaded it won’t feel so wobbly.

I looked at a lot of things on amazon to hold deliveries. I have a covered porch so rain not much of a problem. I don't sit there, although that wouldn't be a deal breaker but all of the storage benches didn't hold enough. Many of the boxes were too long to fit on the porch. I needed something less than 36 inches long but big enough to hold larger boxes or several Amazon Fresh deliveries. That is assuming UPS, FedEx or even Amazon will use this box. I have had problems with stolen packages and have two thieves on security cam. But of course, the authorities do nothing about it but tell you to bring your mail in right away. That's fine if you're home but I needed a solution for when I am not. My USPS carrier *will* use the box as we have discussed the theft problem before and I'm not the only one.The box arrived at11:50 and I had it assembled by 1pm all by myself. Minimal tools needed but I did need a screwdriver and either a socket wrench or an open end wrench. All parts were included (plus one extra screw and I appreciate that.) The directions were clear and it went together easily. While they do recommend two people I put it together alone quite easily. The design and construction seems quite sturdy and adequate to my purpose. While I wouldn't sit on it I imagine you could as long as you don't weigh to much. Since this will sit on my porch I also spray painted it to match my house, so construction was actually less than an hour as the remainder of the 70 min. was spent spray painting the top front and both sides.Once the paint is dry I will be attaching labels to direct USPS, FedEx, UPS and Amazon to place deliveries in the box. I will also be adding labels warning that mail theft is a Federal Felony resulting in up to 5 years in prison and $250,000 fines. Plus a warning that they should smile as they are on security cams. Will it stop them? No. You can never stop them, just slow them down. There is a loop on the front to padlock the lid and box together but it would be easy to cut through the plastic so I don't consider this a secure solution. It is mostly to get deliveries out of sight and to further warn them about theft, should they be caught. For that purpose, this is perfect.I plan to put insulation around the sides and top so that if amazon fresh delivers, groceries will be insulated at least somewhat.

This is not very sturdy for a Rubbermaid brand product. Holes do not line up and took more than a screwdriver and wrench to put together. Was about to rip my hair out trying to get it all to line up. I researched and for the size, this was what worked. If it holds together, I’ll be amazed. Do more research and get something less complicated to work with and save yourself some aggravation. Also, this is now $40 cheaper than when I purchased 2 weeks ago, which sucks.

Fits 7 large cushions with ease. Water proof and attractive to look at. Would buy again.

I started assembling the box, and the very first piece of hardware was missing. I also noticed that some areas of the box sides were scraped up. It definitely looks like it was either scraped during packaging or a re-boxed return. I was going to keep it and just deal with it being damaged, but I still needed the missing hardware. I called Rubbermaid multiple times over the course of an hour. I could not speak to a person. I went through the automated menu multiple times, but the system kept disconnecting me, stating “no one can take your call because all employees are in a company wide meeting.” Since they were too busy to help a paying customer, I decided to box it up and return it.Honestly, I have other deck boxes that were significantly less expensive, which seem to be higher quality and easier to construct. Do not waste your money on this product. I was willing to pay more because Prime shipping was fast, but it was Not Worth It.

I paid more for this extra large storage chest because of the Rubermaid reputation for quality. Not disappointed as the chest is extremely sturdy, and looks very nice on my patio. Assembly took some time, not because it was too difficult, but because it is a large cabinet.
