I have used Damp Rid for over 20 years. It is absolutely essential if you are near the beach or anywhere that gets humid. This keeps all my closets from developing that musty smell but more importantly I never get mold on any of my clothes or closet items as long as I keep these in the closets. I will caution you that I do not use the "tub" ones any longer because if they accidentally spill the mess is awful to clean up. Kind of oily like bleach would be spilled all over your clothes and or floor of closet. The ones that hang in your closet are absolutely fantastic. If you don't care for the smell (I like the lavender/vanilla) then get the unscented...they work just as well. I highly recommend Damp Rid and I make sure I have multiple extras stored at all times. I have these on auto-delivery.

This is a must have for high humidity areas. I bought one when I had discovered a window was left open after a rainy day and the room just felt damp. In 2 days it had absorbed so much moisture I had to change the bag! I have used them in closets,(generally mine have lasted 2 to 3 months there), in the RV and even in the trunks of cars- that one will surprise you! The scent isn't strong and this product does what it claims to do. I use them all the time.

I live in a bi-level and the downstairs closet (under steps) gets very moist and creates an unpleasant smell. These bags are amazing and i love seeing the water build up!

I can't believe these things pull so much moisture from the air! I put one in each closet and the bag filled within a month or so.

They work hanging them between the clother but in about 2 weeks it is all water, need new ones and they cost.

These really work! They last about 2 months.
