Q: What is the cable between the sections of magnesium made from, is it stainless steel?

It depends on which type of stainless steel. I received mine and a magnet sticks to it, so it is martensitic. I'd like to know which specific stainless steel the cable is made from, so I can be confident that it won't rust and fall apart in my water heater.

Q: The seller posted that the magnesium rod diameter is 13/16", but this is larger than the 3/4" threads and won't fit in if so! what is it really?

Yes, the thickness of rod is 13/16", the thread is 3/4" NPT. You can notice that the ends of the rod are smaller. So there is no conflict between these two sizes.

Q: Is this a miniature or a model of an anode? 3.52 ounces is way too small for a real anode.
