The description states the heating elements will produce 110-130 degrees F. Using an infra-red thermometer and a one amp USB charger, the actual output was, on average, 81 degrees for the original set of elements in the slippers and 79 degrees for the extra replacement set of elements. Temperatures were measured every 2 minutes for a 20 minute "wam up" period. Neither set was remotely warm to the touch after 20 minutes. I did the same experiment with a 2 amp USB charger (the maximum limit as stated in the product description) and was able to raise the temperature to a maximum of 93.7 F. Note, however, that the temperature of the heating element is not at all uniform. Depending on the spot tested, the infra-red readings were anywhere from 78.5 degrees to 93.7 degrees on the same element. But even at the very highest readings on one particular portion of the element, they produce nowhere near the advertised MINIMUM output of 110 degrees and do not warm the feet by any stretch of the imagination. I have returned the item for a full refund.

First, let me say that I am a senior, living in North Dakota. My house isold, and even with weatherization, if the wind is blowing from the northmy feet get COLD! My son got these for me at Christmas. I had tried heatedsocks (batteries) which didn't work at all, and the batteries only lasted an hour or so.I had bought Heated Insoles you warm in microwave, which worked but only forabout half an hour. THESE ARE PERFECT!FOUR MONTHS LATERTwo months after I started wearing them, one of the filaments went out... no problem, as they had sent an extra replacement heating filament. Now, about two months after that filament went out, another one went out. When I contacted the seller (Allibuy) I got this message back:Hello Char,I really sorry to hear that ,as item was fullfilled by Amazon,you could kindly direct contact Amazon customer service how they will do,and now the brown was out of stock now,may back almost winterReally sorry and sincerely apologize,AlibuyOf course they are about a month PAST Amazons coverage!!! I loved them while they worked, and may still continue wearing them, without the one filament working, but will NOT buy from this company again, as it is terrible service. They should have lasted longer than 4 months!I have my laptop sitting on my walker seat, which is always by me. I play onthe internet all day, and watch TV until bed. These just plug into my laptop USB.I had read that these were flimsy...BUT they are NOT! They are also very softand plush. Also, the cord is a verycomfortable length .. about 2 feet to where the cord separates to the twoslippers. the length between slippers, as I am sitting is about 3 feet maybe (I didn't measure accurately) but it is a very comfortable distance, for meto spread my legs out while sitting...The slippers took about 10 minutes to completely heat up, but thenstayed heated at a very comfortable warmth as long as I had themplugged in (several hours). When I need to get up to go potty ormake supper, I just unplug the cords in the front of the slippers. I would not wantto walk around in them all day, but they are not meant for that.THEY ARE WASHABLE! JUST BE SURE TO TAKE OUT THE HEATING COIL IN BOTTOM OFSLIPPERS. There is a zipper for that. AIR DRY, I SLIP MINE OVER A BROOM OR VACUUM HANDLE LOL (that is a shadow on the slipper shown above, not dirt.)They come with an extra heating coil, just in case, but so far both slippersare heating wonderfully.The ONLY draw backs are:#1 They are made rather small... they fit my feet perfectly, but I do have sort ofshort, wide feet. I don't think a LARGE man or someone with larger feet will findthese comfortable. I tried to wear fluffy socks with them, but couldn't as it was tootight. But as warm as they are, that is no problem. If you have smaller than size 9, regular width feet, they would be comfortable. Or size 8 wide feet lol, like me.#2 My cats keep wanting to play with the cords lol. NOT the fault of the company lol. I coverup the cords and feet with a blanket, which resolves that little problem lol.I would definitely recommend these!!!I did re-write my review to a negative, as two heating elements have went out in the 4 months I have owned them, but it didn't post...however, the buyer DID finally offer to replace the whole set of slippers... so now I will say, the seller IS WILLING to work with you if something goes wrong. But, the heating elements are not made well. That being said, to me, they are still a necessity for my cold feet, and I am so happy Alibuy is working with me to send new ones. Thank you Alibuy

Very comfortable.

My feet are always cold and I have tried other options. They are much more convenient than what I was using - the heating pad thing you slip your feet into. Although they do not crank out a lot of heat, even without being plugged in, they are very comfortable and warm. I just unplug them and wear them around the house all the time. Finally - a word of warning - I wear mens' size 7.5/8 shoe and they just fit me, so if you have larger feet than I do, they probably will not work for you. Defnitely worth the money!
