QuikTea Masala Chai Tea Bags - 72 Count Single Box - All Natural Preservative Free Tea Bags from Assam

I've been fond of chai for many years and good brands are hard to find. When I do, it seems like the next time I go to order it has doubled in price. Tea India, Celestial Seasonings, even Tetley Masala Chai were all good flavored teas but were either sold out or unreachable in price so I decided to give this brand a try. It came earlier than expected, that was good. I used it exclusively for the whole day and it did not meet my expectations. Each box contains 72 bags, dived into two sealed foil bags for freshness. When I opened the first one all I smelled was the Assam tea,no spices. I should have been able to smell the ginger,cloves, black pepper and other aromatics but nothing, just tea. When I brewed it, again nothing but plain tea. I don't know if it was a packing mistake or a mixing mistake but it's not chai and I'm very disappointed.

I LOVE good Masala chai tea..unfortunately this brand is NOT good. It barely has any flavor of black tea, much less of masala chai tea. Basically just weak and cheap. I now buy the Trader Joe's spiced chai tea...cheap and HUGE flavor! Save your money, don't buy this

This tea is delicious. It's unsweetened (be careful when shopping has many sweetened brands) The powdered milk in the tea makes it very slightly sweet.I like strong tea so when I make my morning thermos of tea for work I use two bags of PG Tips and one package of Quik Tea. Gets me up and going!

I love the tea but both boxes expire this December
