Dolphin Tale 2: The Junior Novel Paperback – July 29, 2014

Had to buy used because you can't find it new. I believe it said it was Good in the description but I'd call it maybe Acceptable. I don't recall reading about it having any writing in it, but clearly it did.

I have never read a book so inspiring as this one, I did not put my kindle down until I finished it. Well, I did, I did have to go to sleep, but I finished it just before I saw the movie, it was almost word for word. Winter overcame her loss of tail, and she thrived on the love and attention she got from CMA, she mourned the loss of Panama, and who wouldn't, she was who probably taught Winter how to survive where she was, the book said Panama was like her grandmother, but she could have also been like her mother, either way, the emptiness Winter felt, I felt, it was like losing my mother all over again. But after all the effort the whole staff put on her, helping her understand that she was not alone, made me feel like it was worth fighting to be alive. Then when she least expected, she found Hope, or Hope found Winter, and that friendship helped both of them to stay alive. We, too, form friendships, and we also hope that friendship will last forever....may that friendship help us realize that no matter what happens in life, we have each other to rely on and support us, and be our cheering squad.....

This was a great book. I was soon what like the movie but a little different, like the talking was a little off. It was a happy bit sad book. The only thing was I that they did not talk a lot about sswyer got hurt, they did not go into a lot of details about how he got hurt. That was the only thing that I did not like about the book, but it was a great book to read. I love it how the book talks about friendship and how when bad rThings happen a friend is always there to help you thought the tough times.

Trying to get my 3rd grade son to read and comprehend what he reads has been a challenge. He was recently diagnosed with ADHD and, although he is a fluent reader, he does not comprehend what he is reading. Also, getting him to sit down and read was a challenge. I bought this book while the movie was still in the theaters. His incentive was that once we read and he understood the book, we would go see the movie. This was a good incentive for him and a very heartwarming, well-written book.

This was a gift to our grandson, he is ten years old. I asked him how he like it? This is what he said : " It is very interesting. There are sections very intense. Maybe recommend to a mature reader. I will rate it a 4 star."

This was amazing, first book that I have read that was exactly like the movie, almost word by word. It was an inspiring book, and the movie as well. Like I have said before, some humans need to follow the example of Hope and Winter. This book too had me in tears.I would recommend this book, it is a simple read, but what you learn from it, will last you a lifetime.

I would recommend this book to everyone that likes dolphins! It is a true story about two dolphins! This book inspires me to never give up because Winter and Hope never gave up even when it was tough and through their injuries.

Fast and easy

I don't remember seeing any mention of the number of pages before I brought this item, but it has so few that it is more like a pamphlet than a book. Couple with this the text is printed so large (in order to make as much as possible of it) that there is barely a decent read there at all. I bought this for an 8-year old and she read it from cover to cover in less than 10 minutes. Sorry - disappointed.

Not clear that this is just a very slim pamphlet with lots of pictures and little in way of story, one very disappointed child. Educational as child has learnt to check the number of pages before ordering ☺

Excellent, inspiring and fact-based story for children aged 6+ to read. Good photos. Great paper and printing quality.

When I watched dolphin tale 2 the movie I looked on line for the book and found this one. the book is moving and true to life, I think children would like this.
