The City After The Automobile: An Architect's Vision

I"ve been a big Safdie fan for several decades. Still am.I'm also a Paolo Soleri fan and was hoping the visions they both have would somehow become part of a single dynamic allowing for the best of both. Sadly, Moshe does not acknowledge Soleri or the vision of Arcology.In my view, Safdie's perspective is needlessly confined as a result.I am convinced Moshe is a great architect, but ignoring a perspective that is available and inspiring if not prophetic...Come on Moshe! Don't hold back!That is why I only gave the book two (2) out of five stars.The City in The Image of Man, by Soleri, gets twenty five (25)! out of five stars... It is off the chart!
