DaytonaTwin Tec VT-i Electronic Ignition System 1010

The media could not be loaded.  Replaced with the same exact unit that came with the bike, fixed my non starting issue. Good product so far.

I gave this 4 stars simply because I haven't put it in yet and it will be awhile. It's for my winter shovel project. Myself, my dad and my buddy have their ignition in our bikes and they have all worked great. I expect nothing different from this part. Other than prior experience with DTT, I bought this because of the timing indicator light and rev limiter options. I didn't see that on any other units in this price range. I will try to get back with an actual review after it's running.

Was used so was quite surprised thought I was buying a brand new item

installed in a 1977 FLH fresh rebuild, ignition cuts out at 60 mph reinstalled points and ran up to 90 MPH no problem with points. Sent unit back to manufacturer and they replaced it with a new one, installed new unit and it cuts out at 65-68 MPH. Removed and returned to manufacturer which now say nothing wrong with unit. I had installed two new coils and sets of plug wires, used different plugs, nothing changed. I am staying with points. Manufacture will not refund me.

set up use pure Na. never ces. works real well. make sure coil can stay cool, install properly. put mine at 6200 rpm. 1980xlh. going use on 1979. as well. don't know a about other products. this one works very well.
