Really good. Will last a loooooooong time. Best one is the 9B, you can do anything with just that one alone.

I love these water soluble graphite sticks. As a portrait artist working primarily in graphite, these give me the ability to add another medium to my work that plays well with both traditional graphite as well as other water media. I can get intense blacks all the way up the value scale to the lightest greys. They go on smooth and blend completely with water, however you choose to add it. I’ve used traditional brushes, water brushes, and even my fingers to blend them out. In this photo, I used graphite pencils, Lyra graphite sticks, and an elegant writer marker (all water soluble in varying degrees) to get the look I wanted. Purchase with confidence…they are a great asset to your studio arsenal!
