The anvil is of good quality steel that does not mark when struck. A hefty weight for it's small size. The exchangeable heads for the hammer fit well. The hammer of course is light but well suited for applications that require this.

I served my time as an instrument maker and many times I would have loved a little anvil an hammer set such as this.I was just going to but the anvil but the set with the hammer is really good value so I have gone for that.I have a few hammers with interchangeable faces from large to medium to small but not one (mini ?) as small as this.The quality of the anvil is superb, a nice weight (490g), with a nice mirror finish and as well as the two heads on the top you can turn it over and there is a nice curved section for fashioning rings etc.The one small downside is that there are no holes to fasten it to a bench but that is typical for this type of anvil as you won't be hitting it with a huge hammer so that it would move along the bench, so I am perfectly happy with it the way it is.You can get anvils this size with holes in them for fastening them down, but for some unknown reason they are VERY expensive, in fact silly money, why that is I have no idea !My first impression of both of these tools is that they are of great quality and also great value for money and I have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars without any problem - I will certainly be using them a lot in the future.

This is a great little anvil that came with a multi-head hammer. No idea what I'd use the hammer for though but the anvil itself is solid.Happy to recommend.

Einfach nur genial

Un très bon petit kit, et surtout hyper abordable. L'enclume est juste là à vie à mon sens. Le marteau est très pratique avec les têtes interchangeables, même si elles ont tendance à se dévisser toutes seules, mais ça ne m'a pas empêché de travailler et de faire ce que j'avais à faire.

Il prezzo vale la pena anche solo per l'incudine. Il martello è piccolino e può andare bene per anelli o piccole incisioni. Diciamo che dopo l'uso l'aggancio della testina si smolla e se non lo si ferma con uno spessore può essere inutilizzabile.Io ho risolto facendo un giro di nastro ad ogni cambio testina.Fa comunque il lavoro per il quale è predisposto.
