I have a Sheba inu that gets freaked out by thunder. We tried cbd and anxiety medication but we didn't like the results. I bought this item on a whim... and it worked!He is still unsettled by the storms but he isn't freaked out any more. Easy to use and worth the try if you don't want to drug your dog.

This product is terrible. My dog was even more scared after hearing the sounds that come out of this thing. I only bought it because Oprah endorsed it so I trusted her judgement on it. The sounds are a bit scary even for humans. Just didn't like it at all and unfortunately I missed the deadline for return.

Purchased this cause of rave reviews of the babyshusher. Just wondering if it's just me or others experience this. On the instructions manual it says the USB port will be covered when it's turned on and when it's off the port will open. I've turned it both on and off but was unable to see it covered.

"The Doggie Shusher" is Magic!! I just ordered a second one...so one can always be charging. We just had a severe, loud thunderstorm roll through and within 5 minutes of turning "The Doggie Shusher" on...both Grandpups were relaxed and sleeping! No more drooling and pacing! Thank You So Much!

I had seen similar devices when my sister had a baby as she used one with great success. When I saw this and we were getting a new puppy I thought it was a great idea so I gave it a try.When puppies first come to their new home it is a scary experience for them so it is important to provide soothing experiences to let them know they are safe. Unfortunately, like most people, we are not able to be with our pup all of the time.This device is USB chargeable and by simply twisting it the timer is activated and the shushing sounds begin.When twisted all the way it runs for 2 hours. The volume control allows for adjusting volume from quite loud to low where it will be heard only within the room.As with all pet training devices this will not work with all dogs - and those it works with it may work better than with others. It definitely works best when combined with other soothing techniques like scented clothing or blankets / towels that smell like their pack.This definitely helped with our puppy and I would recommend giving it a shot.

I bought this for our new puppy. It did seem to soothe her, but it stopped working within two weeks. I bought it before we got the puppy and now I’ve missed the return window. It charged and worked great up until a few days ago. That was a waste of $40.

I keep it near his crate and scoots next to it and falls asleep.
