I have a German Shepherd mix who has extremely sharp teeth. I have not even had this a week and he's not been allowed to play with it unsupervised. We were tugging with it and it just snapped. I noticed some fraying the last time I had used it and thought that was normal wear and never expected it to break. I'm extremely disappointed with this.

This ball is amazing! Very durable and my working line German Shepherd loves it. It is one of the only toys that he will really work for, more than food. The Nero Ball helps build ball drive as well as engagement with your dog. It's a great ball to play tug with. I personally have one of each kind of the Nero Ball and love them all! The best is that it is a family owned business with famtastic customer service. They really care about their customers, the dogs, and the quality of what they sell. 11/10 would recommend! Pros- I like the colors, the feel of the rope is not bad or painful to hold while dog is tugging. Cons- The rope is super flimsy, I don’t let my working dogs chew on this but it broke the second day just from tugging. The ball is super heavy i mean if you swing it around it’s a hazard. It’s also not very big, they need to have bigger sizes as large dogs can suck this in their throat and suffocate.

This is a serious ball! Nice and heavy for a long throw. I use it as a tug reward and a fetch reward when training my toy driven GSD. Normal chomping during play does not ruin it but I don't let him have it unsupervised.

She was able to bite through the other ones that were hollow, but this ball has been holding up great. This is the ball she likes the carry while she runs alongside my bike! Thank you Nero Ball!

It lasted maybe a dozen throws before my year old GSD bit thru the rope.Maybe a Kevlar rope would be in good order for this ball....

My Malinois Loves it but she is a crazy chewer and wears down even the solid one. she will bite and chew it so hard little pieces start to come out.
