Bottle I received did not look like bottle in description. 10 star customer service.
As another customer said, the 8 oz. bottle that I received does not look like the bottle in the photo. The bottle that I received looks like a smaller version of the 16 and 32 oz. bottle. There is no provision for easily measuring out 1 oz portions inside the bottle.Instead of squeezing the bottle to measure and dispense the dye (like you would do with the bottle pictured on Amazon), I had to measure it the old fashioned way (pour the dye out of the bottle and into a tiny measuring cup). This was messy and far more inconvenient. So, be aware that the bottle you receive might not be the style of bottle pictured here on Amazon. IF spilled, the dye gets spread everywhere very quickly and it smears around when you wipe it up.Update: I received a response to this review from the seller offering a full refund due to the mixup about the bottles. 10 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE! As much as I would have liked the bottle with the built-in dispensing feature, the product itself is great and performs wonderfully. And you can't beat the way the company takes care of its customers.

Works well, but can be messy
Product works well, but it is MESSY. Wear rubber gloves, old clothes, and rubber boots when using this product. Pour the product in/over an area that you don't mind getting stained. Also, I did not care for the bottle design with the separate measuring spout. I think my bottle and bottle caps may have been defective. The caps did not permit a tight seal because remnants of the product dripped from the caps after I closed the bottle. Make sure you have a large zip-lock bag ready to store the bottle once you are done using the product.

Helpful marking due to reduce chemicals used in your yard
This is an excellent marking dye that can be used with a variety of sprays used around the yard. It fades within a few days and you can vary the concentration based on your preference - I use a little less dye than recommended so it isn’t as noticeable but I can still tell where I’ve sprayed. I purchased it while fighting a weed problem and found it helped reduce the amount of herbicide I needed to use by identifying weeds that have already been sprayed vs ones that haven’t.

This works!
This does what is supposed to. I took the precautions suggested by persons whom bought this before but I still ended up with a blue due to a hole in one of my gloves😒I quickly transferred it to another bottle because reviews said the original bottle is leaky. The blue does not let up off your skin, it’s pretty crazy. Not thinner. Not mineral spirits. Not acetone. It faded a little with vinegar, but please don’t get it on your skin. It marks the grass well.

Fine product but really messy
I only am giving the review 3/5. It is a perfect product, except it really gives no warning about how messy it is and how to deal with it, and that's a big concern. The smallest amount of this stuff leaves a bad stain. So, I'm going to give you the advice they don't...1) Wear disposable gloves2) Wear messy clothes, not your regular wear3) Always mix it over a cardboard box, ideally outside on the drive way (so rain can wash away any mess)4) If you do get it on yourself, immediately wash your hands. Some kind of abrasive soap will get a bit more off than regular water do, but the best thing is to have a long soak in the bath.5) Don't be too alarmed if you get it on your clothes, as it will generally come out in the wash. But don't leave it, soak it immediately in a big tub of water and leave it soaking. The longer you leave it, the more likely it will stain.6) If you do get it on concrete that doesn't get rainfall (e.g. your garage floor), you have a problem. It took me a lot of experimenting to solve this. It won't wash away, or with a hose sprayer, or even a power washer - although some of it will. It won't fade away. Acid washing won't remove it. A belt sander won't help. What WILL work is regular household bleach. Wear gloves, pour it on, and spread it around with a brush a bit. Wait a long time, maybe sweeping it around a bit. Then use the brush's dustpan to sweep it away, and dump it into a bucket of water, which you can then put down the sink. Crisis averted. Don't leave it, the longer you leave it, the more the dye will set in.

The dye worked great to mark where I sprayed, and some overspray on the sidewalk came off fine
Pulled some of the wording from my mesotrione review from this same company, where I used this dye with the meso and the surfactant too:...."Another thing I want to add is that for my 1 gallon sprayer, I used half a teaspoon of the Mesotrione, following as accurately as possible the mixing instructions, and also did follow the surfactant and dye instructions too, though I accidentally tipped the measuring-pouring tip combo too much on the dye product and more came out into my sprayer bottle. Well, that turned out still to be helpful anyway to increase the easy view of where I was spraying, and it only dyed my sidewalk a little bit, which faded very well over the next few days too and washed off better with some sprinkling going on.Overall, all 3 of these products were great results to me, and there is enough of each of them left for probably years to come, since I don't have a large area of crabgrass to even treat."
