It's much lighter than the traditional Naqshbandi Taj, it almost feels like nothing on your head. It is also less rigid. I measured my head with a tape measure and got a measurement of 23.5 inches. The size chart said I should order an XL. When I tried it on, it was much larger than I expected: I could fit my finger underneath the taj. This isn't too much of an issue because I wear the taj with a smaller kufi underneath and tie a tight turban. So if you'd like the taj to fit you perfectly, maybe order a half inch smaller than your actual measurement.Overall, pretty excited that these are available on Amazon!!!
