Upon receiving this item, I was able to take a close look at the numerous claims made on the label. These claims include “GMO Free”; “Organic materials”; “ Vegan”; “Made in a FDA Registered Facility”; and “Made in USA”. Some of these claims are meaningless. Like “Organic Materials.” Note that this does not mean "USDA Certified Organic" or the equivalent, and indeed there is no USDA Organic label. "Organic Materials" could mean that *some* materials were produced using approved organic methods. Which ones? What percent of the product do they comprise? Who knows? Or it could mean simply that it is a carbon-based product, as in the term "organic life form."None of these claims, which appear as small insignia, are standard on health or food products. They appear to have been designed and placed on the package by the manufacturer alone. Who is the manufacturer, exactly? What reason is there to believe that the labeling is accurate? Naturally, one wishes to visit the website and learn more before ingesting the capsules. However, the website that is provided on the label is not functional. Above all, NONE OF THE CLAIMS ON THE LABEL SHOW ANY EVIDENCE OF OFFICIAL SANCTION, PARTICIPATION IN A BROADER PROGRAM (like USDA Organic, Fair Trade Certified, Rainforest Alliance, 1% Pledge, etc.), OR THIRD-PARTY VERIFICATION.All this being the case, as a consumer who has purchased this product and can now inspect it at close range, I am not convinced that it contains the spirulina and chlorella that it claims to contain. I would advise other shoppers to purchase a trusted brand whose product is third-party verified in some way instead of throwing away money on these shady capsules the way I did.

Easy to swallow capsules. Gives me a slight burst of energy. Overall I feel better when I take these. I like that you only need to take 2 a day. Great value for what you get.

Spirulina and Chlorella have naturally occurring vitamins and minerals, and as we know, it's great to get those things via a real food source and not a manufactured source. These capsules are fantastic and easy to take, compared to the very dusty, loose form of these two powders alone. Easy for travel too! Great product and great price for all the amazing benefits of these 2 super foods.

I have been taking Chlorella and Spirulina for over 20 years. I usually buy the powdered versions and keep them in the freezer. Adding them to smoothies makes for a green drink, but not often the best flavor. I also just mix it with water and drink it. However as I have started taking turmeric and other supplements, I have found that this capsule version is very convenient. I can take all the supplements that I want without mixing all those flavors.This bulk bag at the recommended 2 capsules is a 4 month supply! I was sent 1 bag to review and I can say that I do like these. I prefer them to the tablet forms. I have transferred the contents of the bag into a used up supplement bottle as I don't like unzipping and resealing the bag every morning. I have also tested these in a 14 day pill organizer and have found that the capsules seem to last and be fine for that long in an unsealed container. I am going to give this one 5 stars. I really do like them.

There are so many reasons I love this product: great deal, great antioxidant, great for my tummy & skin but my favorite reason is I swear ever since I started taking Spirulina I don’t get eaten alive by mosquitoes!I am a nurse and go through all my patients medications with them and one of my patients was taking Spirulina, so I said I heard this is so good for you, then she tells me about not getting bitten by mosquitoes and I was thinking what do I have to lose. Fast forward to the girl who always got eaten alive but nope not anymore so I am a believer!!!
