Great earphones
Replaced my RHA Ma750s with these after they died and I'm glad I did. Much more comfortable, I forget they're even in my ears. Sound quality is better, although the personalisation in the MIY app ruined it, you can just turn that off. There is a slight crackle audible at low volume in complex bits of music but my last earphones were similar so I think it may be a Bluetooth limitation rather than the earphones themselves. Controls are straightforward and battery life is good.

Very good with some minor downsides
These would deserve a 5x⭐️ If it weren’t for the following:1. The terribly loud and annoying jingles that are blasted into your ears every time you turn the thing on and off (even when they turn off automatically so don’t try falling asleep with them on)2. The voice is too wordy. “Your headset is connected”. I know it’s my headset. Why not just “connected”??? Or even better, just two, three quick notes going up in frequency for “connected” and going down in frequency for “disconnected”.3. The multipoint is inconsistent, it works with certain devices but not with others. These three points break the experience to some extent for me. And it’s a shame because it’s a GREAT product and still deserves a good 4x⭐️. Good sound and very comfortable. I bought them in particular to use with VR headsets which I often put on and off to test software but they do a great job for everything else too, even calls and meetings, no complaints about the microphone.I still recommend this but be aware of those points. I hope they rethink this.

7 hours at best, plus other negatives.
this is my second unit, returning it as well and never looking at beyerdynamic again. "14 hours battery life" is simple misadvertising. with first copy i have pulled some 8 hours when it died. contacted beyerdynamic support for advice, they have replied me with this:"The running times differ considerably between the codecs. The 14:00 hours apply to both AAC and SBC, but not to aptX. For this reason, we communicate - like almost all manufacturers - a runtime of "up to 14 h"."Which means: go figure on your android device yourself if you have Develpoper options enabled, then go to sound settings there and switch from aptX to another codec. did that, no changes. battery still drains way too soon, some 9 hours at very very best. thinking it is just this particular item fault, returned it, ordered replacement. same story. battery charged full, once connected to anything it goes straight to 90% and just drains dry in few hours. on top of this, headset began switching off randomly while in use. every 30 or 40 minutes it just shuts down without any warning. which was enough for me.for the positives: love the design, neckband sits neatly on the neck, mic is where it supposed to be, great noise isolation, superb mic and sound quality. it is no way worth £99 (£72.29 at the moment i am writing this review. which is still too much).

Great audio ruined by quality control and battery
The sound on these is incredible.14 hour battery life? More like 8.The right ear on my pair died after 6 months, got a refund. The rest of my audio setup are Beyerdynamic and this is the first product of theirs that has ever failed on me (I sit here waiting some 990 Pros which are about 4 years old).

Balanced sound, great build, somehow bulky
The sound of these earphones is balanced and detailed, with no enhancements on the bass. There is an app to personalise the listening experience, but I felt only a slight difference after using the personalised settings (got more out of the in-app equaliser, it has 5 different options). Some wireless earbuds have a sort of annoying white noise, but these are reassuringly quiet when no sound is being played.Make sure you try the different eartips (there are 5 different types in the box) as this will make a significant difference in the sound quality. I tried the medium size and the sound was far from perfect - I then tried the size above, and finally got the sound quality right. The right fit of ear tips will also provide a good amount of passive (not ANC) noise cancelling.Visually, it feels like a very solid and well build product, it shall be able to take a fair amount of outdoor tear and wear. It is a bit bulkier than some other earphones, the product may have been made a bit more compact. It feels nice to wear it, used it for a stretch of over 2 hours, and no discomfort so far.One downside is that these do not seem to have an auto off feature, so make sure you turn them off manually before putting them away.A great thing about these earbuds is that they great for side sleepers, as the earpieces are really compact! Having another pair of (wired) beyerdinamics, this was one reason to upgrade within the brand.Havent tested the battery, it’s claimed to last 14hrs. It charges via usb-c (cable provided), and it comes with a well-thought case to carry the earphones. For £120, this is a solid purchase if you value balanced sound quality, and do not mind to wear some bulky wireless earphones. Beyerdinamic have definitely some interesting products out there, and can proudly display its German origins.Update - After almost two weeks of use, I’m very happy with these. I found that they can connect to more than one device at the same time. The lack of auto-off is certainly annoying, but it does not seem to have a major impact on the device (still something that the manufacturer should address in the future).

Worst ever...
Gave several chances with different devices; and it is absolute rubbish and sending back. The sound quality is fair at this price point but bluetooth is not stable at all furthermore, the cables from the neckband to ear piece have some issue; when you turn your head to left/right the you start to hear heavy white noise.Anyway look for somewhere else!

Wouldn't charge fully, so disappointed
When i got the earphones i followed the instructions for charging to the letter. However the earphones wouldn't charge above 90% and with that i could only get a max of 7 hours from them. Which is half the expected battery life.I returned them through amazon but wasn't allowed to exchange them like i truly wanted as I believe they may have just been a faulty pair.

Best Sounding Earbuds!
I have always had a problem with finding the right fit because I have small ear canals. These Blue Byrd wireless earbuds do that and a lot more. The sound quality is outstanding as well as the noise cancelling. I also love the fact that there is a band around you neck so you won't lose them. I am no audio tech by any means but I find the sound very balanced. These are the best bang for you money from a Hifi audio headphone pro company like Beyerdynamic. An update: Still rocking the earbuds. The only thing I would love to see in the next generation is magnetic earbuds so they don’t flop around my neck when I am going to do something and I am not using them..

Great for all-day wear
This is my third Beyerdynamic product. I started with the Lagoon ANC headphones and liked the personalization experience that MIY/Mimi brought to my listening as I have slightly reduced hearing in my left ear and the personalization process with the hearing test seemed to help bring more balance to the sound. Since then I've tried other similar systems like Anker Soundcore HearID, Sonarworks SoundID, and Nura (both the headphones and the Nuraloop). Overall, I like SoundID the best, but it isn't built into as many products, so I went back to the Beyerdynamic well for the Aventho Wireless and really liked those even more than the Lagoon, so in wanting something smaller and more portable with multipoint support, I arrived at these. The one thing you do give up here is noise cancellation. However, my purpose in buying these is to have something I can wear all day for work and personal calls, podcasts, and music. I'm not worried as much about noise canceling during the day now that I'm working from home and I really like these because they will stay connected to 2 devices all day without dropping out or shutting off. And the battery life allows for all-day use even with many hours of talking and listening. So for this all-day wear purpose, I prefer this form factor over true wireless earbuds since those you tend to put in and take out. I wanted something I could have on my all day without needing to fumble for earbuds or trying to find their case. These can just hang around my neck so they're always available when I need to use them. This is the advantage neck buds have over other form factors. I also like that the buds are so small that I can take naps with them in my ears and they don't cause any discomfort even if I'm lying on my side. The mic is very serviceable for calls. I've recorded sound samples and compared it against other earbuds and headsets in my collection and these compare very favorably. I consider the Samsung Buds Live among the best I have for calls and these do just as well with clarity but perhaps suffer a bit with restraining background noise. Of the 3 Beyerdynamic products I have, I these probably come in third as they seem to be the quietest, but keep in mind the Lagoon and Aventho are surprisingly good for calls. I also really appreciate that you can control sidetone in the app. I like having sidetone in headsets I intend to use for calls.I mentioned the app. It's not as comprehensive as some of the best (Soundcore, Sony, Jabra), but in addition to the presets and sidetone settings, you also can change voice prompt settings (what it will announce and in what language), turn on or off the assistant, brighten or dim the flashing blue LED, reset the device and do firmware updates when applicable. And of course, the Mimi hearing test is also done via the app. Like most other tests, it plays noises and ask you to confirm when you can hear them. Please note that you have to create an account with Mimi to do this, but the advantage of the account is that if you have multiple devices that use Mimi, you don't have to keep doing the test again with each new device.I also like that because these are neckbuds, you have a physical remote with actual buttons. Inside the app it tells you what the buttons do, but for the most part, it works as you'd expect. There is also a separate power button on the left side. The buds come with a carrying case and a USB C cable, which has its own pocket in the case. The case isn't terribly small, especially compared to true wireless cases, but for what it is, it's about as small as it can be. You'll need to fold up the neckbuds to get them to fit inside. As for cons, I already mentioned noise canceling and that its absence may be a con for some. I didn't have any problems getting these to fit me well, but because they are so small, that could be a problem for some who prefer having hooks or some kind of wing to secure them. These may not be the best choice for exercise. The combination of not having hooks or wings plus the neckband bouncing around means these are probably best for stable use while sitting or standing and not moving around.I think these sound very good for their tiny size. I recommend trying out the personalization to see how that works for you; you can turn the personalization up or down (something you can't do with most other similar systems). But there is no official equalization, just a few presets (bass boost, warm, smooth, v-shape and speech). I generally keep it on original, but I do like that the presets tell you exactly what they do - for example, the bass boost add 6.5db to the lower frequencies and it shows you on a frequency graph. The Warm preset adds 5 db to lower mids and takes 1 db off treble, etc. It would be nice if you really tweak this as you desire but it's good that they're there as it does allow for just a little bit more customization. I think Beyerdynamic is trying to straddle the line between audiophile and mainstream here and I guess this does the trick. I really do appreciate the graphs and the definitions for each preset. But I still wish I had a simple 8-band equalizer instead.Overall, I love these buds. I wear them almost every day and I love that I can have them connected to 2 devices simultaneously (although if you pair to more than 2 devices, you'll probably have to disconnect from one to switch; it doesn't seem smart enough to switch on-the-fly even if you power off one of the connected devices). If you don't mind the form factor and not having noise cancellation, I'd certainly recommend them.

The media could not be loaded.
