Curaseb Chlorhexidine 4% Shampoo for Dogs & Cats, Maximum Veterinary Strength Formula

This is the first review I have written ever. And I shop a lot! My Pomeranian dog Reese was misdiagnosed by the same vet twice as having just itchy skin. After 3 weeks and 2 visits, I decided to go to the emergency room. The vet there looked at some cells under the microscope and said Reese had both a bacterial infection and a yeast infection. By this time, his entire tummy was covered in red welts, white postures and black matted skin. The vet prescribed an antibiotic and this medication. She said it was important to get the 4% and also very important to leave on for 10 minutes. Wash every other day. I followed the rules and now one week later, he is as good as new. Needless to say, I will be changing vets!

My Maltese get yeast infections in between her toes. She licks them like crazy further escalating the problem. So I found this shampoo to cure her within a week of daily washings. This stuff is stronger than other formulas and gives you a faster result. I have to shave her feet like poodle feet so the air can also hit her toes but these shampoo is so good. I did see improvement within three days but to be sure I kept treating her for a week. Buy it!

This shampoo works great for my dogs hotspot. It really helps reduce irritation and helps heal the hotspot. I still definitely need to use a cone on him to keep him from licking the area, but the shampoo is helping it heal.

I have bought this before and will keep using it. Great for my dog. It is almost the same as what vet sold me but works just as well!

So far we’ve only used it a couple of times for our dog. Today will be another wash day to get the 2-3 washes this week. He has had such a bad smell and horrible itching, we’d bathe him and within the hr he would start smelling. Using this product didn’t smell for at least a day but hopefully as we follow the bathes it will start to heal his skin so the source of smells goes away. He seems to go through these long episodes every so often so always trying to find the “right” help. So far so good.

Have a Pekingese with skin issues. Doesn’t always clear it up but helps keep it under control. None of the other shampoos have done anything for her. I keep it in stock for her.

My poor dog has allergies and is constantly itching and scratching. First time I washed him, it gave immediate relief and improvement. Second time, even better and so on. Great product so I'm ordering some wipes for my kitty, who also has allergies.
