I buy these for my daughter who is studying animation/illustration at college and apparently only Ohuhu will do. They allow for crisp drawing with pens and no bleeding. The image does show on the underside but doesnt bleed onto next page. She loves their pens too.This size she likes, a smudge under A4. Easier to fill a page apparently.

Great sketchbook but thicker than I realised therefore heavier in my bag.Good quality paper.

Good quality paper, great for mixed media, well made sketch book but because there's so much paper and therefore very thick, a little bit difficult to work with when at the start or end of the book. Saying that, because it's such good value, I would definitely buy it again

This is great, it does just as it says, no leak through to other pages when using markers. It doesn’t however adapt well to other mediums like paint.

The media could not be loaded. Please remember, every artist has preferences and different taste in sketchbook. I originally bought the marker/smooth version of this a couple of months ago and found it excellent. My only issue is that because the pages were very smooth, I couldn't produce very dark effect by layering graphite or colour pencils. It still works great for light sketches.This mixed-media one, however, has ticked all the boxes for me. Very thick, solid paper with the advantage of having fine texture. This effectively means, being a multi-media book and all, you can use graphite, charcoal, pastel, and ink rather effectively, actually.If you're familiar with Canson multi-media sketchpad, I'd say this one's paper is similar with a tiny teeny extra tooth. In practice, this should allow you to layer graphite and produce realistic effects. It works great with charcoal. I found it to work nicely with Nitram charcoal, which is notorious for requiring extra tooth to stick to the paper. It also worked great with the Conte wax-based charcoal pencils, and other generic charcoal sticks.If you use ink washes, the ink might show on the other side of the page.My only issue with this sketchbook and that's just my personal preference, is that it's slightly smaller than the marker version (I bought the largest one - there are two more smaller sizes). It's a bit wider, but about 1.5cm shorter. I don't know the wisdom behind this odd size, but I would've liked a mixed-media version the same size as the marker version. See the difference in size in the photo.Although, some people prefer smaller sketchbooks, and that's probably a plus for them.I think, this is the best mixed-media sketchbook of such a size available on the market. The price is reasonable.

Loads of pages and extremely high quality have purchased bigger names brands that cost more and this is much better . If you love art : pencil or pen work , felts, shading - it’s good for all . Not used with paint yet . Perforated along edges of pages so they can be removed easily

This item oozes quality, I love it. It seems too wonderful to contaminate it with my scribbles.

Great quality, loving the hard back cover, my ink doesn't run through the paper as it similar to card. Really happy with this product

Vilket kvalitetspapper.Funkar för blyerts/grafira. Tom med akrylfärg. Varken tusch eller akryl blöder igenom. Och om man är orolig för genomblödning så finns det ett silikonblad som kan läggas emellan för att undvika att derby smetar över till andra sidan. Många sidor är ju också. Bladen har en perforering så att det gpr att riva ut bladen på ett sätt om man inte skulle vara nöjd eller om man vill använd till inramning.

Es una pasada, las tapas duras y forradas de tela. Por dentro las hojas son blancas y de bastante grosor, además vienen microperforadas por si las quieres arrancar. Además trae una hoja de goma eva transparente para poner entre las páginas y q no se manchen entre ellas mientras pintas.Al final viene un bolsillo para guardar lo que quieras.Deseando llenarlo de dibujos, me a encantado😊.

Das Ohuhu Skizzenbuch ist für mich zu einem wahren Schatz in meiner Kunstausrüstung geworden. Schon beim ersten Anfassen spürt man die Qualität: Das robuste PU-Cover fühlt sich edel an und schützt Skizzen und Zeichnungen unterwegs – egal ob im Café, im Park oder auf Reisen.Was dieses Skizzenbuch wirklich besonders macht, ist das dicke Papier. Mit 200 g/m² kann ich ohne Sorge vor dem Durchdrücken arbeiten. Ob mit Bleistift, Tinte oder sogar Filzstift – das Papier hält stand und bleibt sauber. Es schluckt die Farben so, dass sie schön zur Geltung kommen, ohne dass etwas auf die Rückseite durchscheint. Da ich gerne mit verschiedenen Materialien experimentiere, ist das ein absoluter Pluspunkt.Die Spiralbindung erlaubt es mir, das Buch flach aufzuschlagen und mich voll und ganz auf meine Zeichnung zu konzentrieren. Kein lästiges Umklappen oder Anheben der Seiten – es liegt so, wie ich es brauche. Und wenn mal eine Skizze nicht gelingt oder ich was verschenken möchte, kann ich sie dank der perforierten Seiten mühelos herausnehmen, ohne das Buch zu ruinieren.Mit seinen 156 Seiten bietet das Skizzenbuch genug Raum, um meiner Kreativität freien Lauf zu lassen. Die Größe ist perfekt – weder zu groß noch zu klein, sodass ich es überall mit hinnehmen kann. Wie in anderen Rezensionen schon angemerkt, ist das Skizzenbuch kein Leichtgewicht.

Erg fijn schetsboek. De pagina's kun je er voorzichtig uithalen. Met extra plastic pagina om doordrukken te voorkomen als je bijvoorbeeld met markers werkt.Heb het tot nu toe geprobeerd met aquarel, potlood, gouache en markers. Werkt prima. Ook aquarelpotloden werken hier goed. Urban sketching met aquarel gaat ook. Maar niet te veel water gebruiken want het papier is geen 300grams.Aanrader. Voor deze prijs krijg je prima papier en nog veel ook, dit is echt een dik boek.
