Nice set of drawing equipment, but it said that an a5 book came with, but I received an a4 sketch book. Only received the 50 page book instead of the 100 page book, disappointed!

My daughter had a huge art supply list for her life drawing class. This set (and another) had almost everything she needed for the class. The right pencils? Here. The right erasers? Here. Willow charcoal? included. Charcoal pencils? Yes. Stumps? Yes. All here.The sketch book included is actually decent quality for an included sketchbook. She can't use it for her class, but she'll definitely get use of it out of class.This set is really nice, has high quality drawing supplies and is packaged well. I really hesitate to call it a beginner's set, because it's not just for beginners. It's an excellent complete set for anyone who wants some portable drawing equipment.I still had to purchase some things NOT included here (like a China Marker, black to white charcoal pastels and a drawing board, and a few other things) but this really covered a lot of things on the list.

I haven't had any decent drawing supplies in many years, but I've signed up for a figure drawing class and needed something to take with me.I REALLY like the assortment of pencils here. I've worked with each of them and now I find that I use two or three the most, though occasionally I still grab a different one depending on what I'm sketching. It's a really nice assortment.I have worked with the charcoal and the graphite and find them to be just what you'd expect - easy to use, fine performing.I've only used the colored crayons once for a little highlighting. They just aren't the kind of thing I would normally use as I prefer to use a pastel for color. I found them just a little more waxy than normal, but again, I don't use crayons much.Both erasers (kneaded and vinyl) work well.I had no idea, going to my first figure drawing session, how things would go. I'm very much an amateur and I was walking in to a group of people, many of them professionals, some whose work hangs on my walls. But I actually received many compliments on my supplies with questions of where did I get this case with all these great items.I haven't used the sketchbook that came with this. I prefer to work in a larger format, but I will be traveling soon and will likely take this with me for the trip.This is a great assortment, nicely packaged to carry around in its case. Perfect for beginners and might even cause a little pencil envy from others.

I wanted to learn how to draw and found that this set has everything I need and probably some that I won't need immediately, if at all. But it's good to have those extras for when (if) I progress in my drawing skills.The set comes as advertised: with a sketchpad (50 sheets), multiple drawing implements like pencils of various softness and hardness (5H to 8B), charcoal sticks, erasers, pencil extender, sharpener, etc.Overall, I really like this set and highly recommend.

An simple art pack to get startedThis art pack by MeroArt has quite a few items for the beginning artist to use to experiment with technique and style. The pack has colored pencils, drawing pencils, and markers. It also comes with a sketchbook that is small enough to travel, but large enough to really get into the art piece. Not the best quality, but a nice starter kit.

This is a great set for all levels of artists. Our 12 year old daughter is expanding her creativity and this set allows for that without having to spend a ton.There are enough colors and options to sit outside and sketch, without making a clumsy mess. Its compact and can be taken anywhere, and when it's empty, the individual pieces can easily be replaced.
