We used these for our ski bikes as most mountains are requiring riders to have a leash on the bike. They work well, they are visible (really important so you don't have to point it out to the lifties every time) and they clip to the bike and my belt buckle pretty well. They have just enough stretch to not be annoying or get in the way.

Lost original cable. This is a heavier cable than original but looks like it will work. Hope I ne er need to use it
