These are perfect for displaying small, lightweight items. They come with a protective film on both sides which can be confusing if you don't read this page because the film is white and adheres tightly to the acrylic. Once you get a corner up you can remove easily but getting that first corner up was difficult.I am using them to display some of my mineral specimens. The clear shelves help draw attention to the rocks.However, do not use them for heavy items. I think I can even see a slight bowing in the topmost shelf that has 3 minerals. I tested them on displaying mugs and the shelves definitely bowed under that weight. But anything lightweight should work just fine.These came very well packaged and in their own box. They were undamaged and I was grateful for the extra protection of the film.The protective film is on both the top and bottom surfaces of the shelves and gives them a frosted look until removed. As I mentioned, finding a place to start peeling the film is the only issue because it adheres so well. Once you get one cornet up though it peels right off.I'm very happy with these shelves and will probably buy more

Sturdy, not flimsy. Comes with protective paper so they are not scratched up. Bought a second set after seeing them. Very pleased.

There were two that had several small cracks in them. These had to be discarded. The rest were great.
