Sterling Auto Pair Reversible Seat Belt Soft Comfort Shoulder Pads 9" - Machine Washable Synthetic Wool

I'm short...not even 5' so the seat belt shoulder strap on any vehicle is always rubbing and cutting into my neck so I'm constantly pulling the seat belt away from me to move it, or keeping my hand/arm inside the belt to keep it from rubbing, which is a good idea. I wanted something to help relieve this problem so I of course came to my FAVORITE online store - Amazon - to find something.I looked at several different styles and settled on this Pair Reversible Seat Belt Soft Comfort Shoulder Pads 9" - Machine Washable Synthetic Wool. The fact that they can be washed, along with the awesome price of less than $6.00 for set of 2 sold me on buying these. I could not be happier! They work great and keep the seat belt shoulder strap from rubbing and cutting into my neck. They are very soft and comfortable and I forget they are there.They fit loosely around the seat belt, which allows them to slide up and down fairly easily when seat belt is not buckled, but they stay firmly in place when I am buckled in. I have noticed they sometimes keep the seat belt from retracting fully upon unbuckling, but I think it is the seal belt cover catching on something on the door while retracting. This may be a problem for some, but a non-issue for me...I just pull the seat belt out a bit, let go and it retracts just fine.I was going to put one on the driver's side in my truck and the other in the passenger side of hubby's car but they are both in my truck right now as we use the truck more than the car. I could move it from the driver's side to the passenger side depending which seat I was in but I admit I am somewhat lazy. So if I forget to move one to the car when we take it somewhere, I just might have to buy another set!I couldn't be happier with my choice and I was very pleased with the seller A-Z Discount too!

I love the synthetic wool seat belt shoulder pads. They are insanely inexpensive, comfortable, and do the job they were designed to do. The only thing I would change if it were possible would be to have them stay put permanently where I like them and need the most protection from my horrible, chafing, irritating seat belt. Of course, that would not be possible because the seat belt needs to be able to retract, so my wish for that change is logistically unfeasible and is not reflection on the product itself. I guess I'm just lazy and don't want to have to take the 5 seconds to reposition them. I ordered two pairs, one pair for the front seat and one pair for the back seat of my car. The pair I got for the backseat were for my two grandchildren, who are 4 and 5 years old. They are in booster seats now and the height of them caused the seat belts to dig into their necks, were very uncomfortable, and caused them to want to put the belt behind their heads, which, of course, isn't safe. The kiddos ended up loving the woolly pads so much that I caved and gave them to my daughter so she could have them in her car for the kids because, of course, she drives them around much more than I do. And now my mom (the kid's great-grandmother) wants some for her car, too, because her seat belt has always bothered her (she's 5' 2") and she also drives the kids around a lot, so she wants some for her front and back seats, as well. Anyway, now I only have one for the driver's seat belt of my car, so I must order some more pairs to make the whole family happy!

I use a heavy professional camera (Sony SLT-A99) Coupled to a heavy Zeiss lens. The strap I use is an excellent Lowepro, but after hours of walking around with the strap around my bare neck in the summer, my neck gets irritated. I bought this item, Slipped my strap through it and there was the comfort I was looking for.The pads are synthetic but none-the-less seemingly well made. The color in the Amazon ad is true to life for the beige version. The Velcro the allows you to open the pads is industrial strength!!I bought a set of grey ones for my fiances Honda CR-V. She loves them. They have been on her care since September and showing no signs of wear.

I used to buy the real sheepskin (about $9 each) until I realized the heat of a closed car was drying the natural skin and they were constantly ripping. These don't. They are not as soft nor as plush as real sheepskin, but for the money they do what I want and keep the sharp edge of the seat belt off my neck. I recently ordered several and utilized them on my dog's wheelchair harness as padding which stopped the chafing. With some imagination, they are quite handy.

These shoulder belt protectors are a little wide so they turn and turn while wearing the seatbelt and also they keep moving up and down the belt as well. I imagine if they were a tighter fit, it would work well. I don't like seeing the seam against my daughter's face when she falls asleep in the car seat. The edges aren't the softest either.

My seatbelt was driving me crazy jabbing me in the neck so this helps a bit to prevent that. The problem is that since it is wool, it does itch and scratch my neck. I don't know about other covers, but this one also seems to slide up and down a lot so I'm constantly adjusting it.Basically, as long as I have a layer of clothing in between this and my skin and can have enough traction on my clothing to hold it in place, it's still better than just the plain seatbelt. Next time I think I'd just spend the money on a better one.

I have one of these on my seatbelt in the car, really helps protect my neck. Recently I had a hold bar installed in my bathroom so I had more security getting out of the shower, but it was so cold!! I saw these & knew it would fit & it does great. Now my other front seatbelt in my car has a cover too!! Great.

This was a replacement pair for the one that got chewed by mice while the care was in storage during a vacation. These seat belt pads relieve the chafing from the seat belt across the shoulder and upper chest. I will probable get another set for the rear seats.
