Cut & Assemble Paper Dragons That Fly (Dover Children's Activity Books)

I purchased these cut and assemble paper dragons for a children's activity aimed at grades 4 to 6. After receiving them, I decided they would be far too difficult to assemble in the limited time I had available, so I ended up constructing all the dragons myself and then giving them to the kids to fly. Assembly requires precise cutting, folding and gluing. I had little difficulty putting them together, and was able to assemble three dragons in about an hour. A young person who is accustomed to precise craft work will have no trouble putting these together with perhaps just a bit of adult help. They are actually easier than the instructions imply,I liked the different dragon designs, and they prompted much discussion among the kids about which would fly better and why. They were all pretty good flyers, but some where better than others. The designs are whimsical, and while I felt that the colors could have been a bit more vibrant, they were all unique. This dragon collection is a good value for the price, but just be aware of it's limitation.

My kids love dragons & are always making their own out of clothes pins so I bought this for them to expand on that. They liked it a lot. If you photocopy the pages it lasts forever.

Of course the images are beautiful. We haven't used it yet so don't have practical experience. But I knew I wanted this book in my possession. So magical for young boys.

The copy of the book I received was in worse shape than I anticipated. Many of the paper airplanes were already cut out (missing). The paper quality of the planes (not the sellers fault) was really thin and doesn't work well for folding or flying. I wouldn't buy this book again.

Received in NEW condition. This paperback has 32 pages. Each dragon glider has 2 sheets that goes with it. One sheet body, the other wings. The pages are pre-colored and requires the use of craft/paper glue. There are step by step instructions that are easy to read/follow. Bought as a stocking stuffer for my little dragon lovers, can hardly wait to see them putting these together and flying them1

I got this for my 11 year old granddaughter for Easter, she was so excited, she loves dragons of any kine. She's read all the How to Train your Dragon books that have been released, which I also got from Amazon. She loves them all. she's excited to get to put together paper Dragons. It's a HIT here.

Lots of fun. Most of the planes can be made by a ten year old, with out adult help.

La verdad tenía la idea de que era un instructivo como los de origami y no los dragones dibujados para recortar y armar, pero tampoco están tan mal. Tiene diez dragones diferentes, y el papel es resistente. Le pongo cuatro estrellas porque aunque los dibujos son muy bonitos, las caras de los dragones son demasiado caricaturescas y le quitan un poco el impacto.
