Sturdy straight key on a heavy base.
High quality key made from heavy gauge materials, mounted to a s solid heavy base. Mine came fully assembled, and pre-wired with 3.5mm TR plug to fit most modern transceivers, or you can buy a simple 3.5mm to 1/4in adapter if that what your radio takes.Like any straight key, it will take some TLC to get it perfectly adjusted to your fist and comfort, but once dialed in it's a pleasure to use.

Good key at a great price…
I wasn’t quite certain what I’d would get, quality-wise, when I ordered this key. But the price was right, and I needed a second key for my Morse code practice. When I unwrapped this key, I was pleasantly surprised by its construction. It is mounted on a chromed steel plate that gives it some heft, keeps the key from bouncing on a desktop, and to a large degree keeps the key from sliding when you’re sending. The bottom of the steel plate is also covered with a felt pad to keep the plate from scratching a desktop. As for the key itself, it is built like a battleship. The only negative thing I can say about this key is that its central spring feels a little stiff, not ideal to my sense of touch. But I may be able to lessen this when I start experimenting with its adjustment screws. Overall, a nice-looking and functional key offered at a great price.

The product was as expected. Just fine

Spring to heavy!
Spring is too heavy. May be fine for a new learner that does not know the difference, but an old user expects a weaker (lighter) touch.

Amazing Key
This is an incredibly beautiful key. It's heavy, beafy even, stout and sits so nicely on the desk. The materials are just excellent. It looks great. Operation is very good too. You adjust the height of the key to set it where you need it for your own hand and speed. I've tested it on the Icom 7300 and on the Xiegu G90. It worked equally well on both. It looks so pretty sitting on the desk, both very high tech and very old school in appearance. This is a great addition to the ham shack.

Decent Straight Key
Solid stainless-steel key and aluminum base. Not extremely smooth but can be adjusted fairly well (the spring is a bit too strong). Overall, a fairly useable straight key.

Pro's and Con's
Yes this thing is built like a brick, but the stamped steel frame is not true, so it wobbles as you key. The felt pad does really do anything to protect the surface of what it sits on, its to thin and does not cover the metal edges of the base. Biggest dislike is the spring tension for the straight is too strong, making it ok for training and learning CW, but not practical for daily QSO's.

Takes some assembly with tiny fingers
Only complaint I had once I had it assembled and working was that the upper contact post needed to be screwed into a tiny threaded hole and it just would not go. I forced it in and now it works fine. I bought 2 keys and only one had this defect. The other works great. Old fashioned telegraphers key

Morse Code Manual Key
Key is good weight so it does not move when operator is sending messages. Easily adjusted for speed, contact spacing and spring tension. Good value!
