Helpful for putting on socks
Great help for putting on socks if you need it.

Not a good product.
The product is made poorly. It failed on first use. The plastic it is made of is very weak and bent (fatigue) the first time my hubby used it. See white lines in photo.

It’s not as sturdy as it once was.
This is my second slider I’ve gotten. The first one was damaged. This new model is obviously made with less material. It’s lighter and a bit more flimsy. I had to gorilla glue the top portion into the base to prevent it from sliding out the front of the track whenever I’d push my foot into the sock. Now it seems to work okay. But if you can find one that weighs more than this version, I would strongly recommend it.But other than that, it’s a great invention for big-bellied people who have trouble getting their socks on. I am spoiled now and have to own one. I never figured out the hot and hook accessories, I don’t use those at all. Word of advice for newbies, put your foot in from a standing position, not sitting. Big difference.

Inferior version that looks like the Sock Slider but isn’t
From the pictures this looks like the original Sock Slider that was great but I broke accidentally (stepped on it in a dark room). This version has slightly thinner plastic so the sock makes the thing curl up and then it’s hard to push a foot into it. Have still used it while other one on the way, but today it broke altogether during routine use. This product is inferior and should be avoided.

Very Cheaply Made
I only have used it three times and the product pulled apart. I am going to see if there is some way to repair it as it would cost more to return it.
